The Lost Vape Centaurus N100 Vape Kit pairs the Centaurus N100 box mod with the Centaurus Sub Ohm Tank, giving you a complete sub-ohm setup ready to use once you add a battery. The N100 mod runs up to 100W from a single 21700 battery, or an 18650 using the included adapter, powered by Lost Vape's Quest 2.0 chipset. A jog dial around the fire button handles wattage adjustment and mode changes, and an on/off toggle switch powers the device on and off without button sequences.

The 0.96-inch TFT colour screen shows wattage, battery level, and coil resistance at a glance. Construction is PC, zinc alloy, and stainless steel, keeping the mod at around 53g, and the translucent matte side panels are replaceable if you want a different look later. The included Centaurus Sub Ohm Tank is a 2ml top-fill sub-ohm tank compatible with the UB Max coil range, with two coils included in the box.

100W Output and Quest 2.0 Chipset

The Centaurus N100 mod fires from 5W up to 100W via the Quest 2.0 chipset. Normal mode is the default setting for use with sub-ohm tanks and pre-built coils, providing stable, auto-detected power output. DIY mode gives you manual control and is designed for use with rebuildable atomisers on the 510 RBA platform, where you want to set power without the chipset auto-adjusting based on resistance. Wattage is adjusted using the rotary jog dial and mode changes are accessed with three quick presses of the fire button.

21700 and 18650 Battery Compatibility

The N100 accepts either a 21700 or 18650 battery, with the 18650 requiring the adapter that is included in the box. A 21700 battery will give you more capacity, typically 4000mAh at a good discharge rate, whereas an 18650 battery will offer around 3000mAh. Neither is included with the kit, so you will need to purchase one separately before the device is ready to use. The battery fits via a sliding magnetic door on the base of the mod. In-mod USB-C charging at 5V/2A is supported, though an external charger is recommended for long-term battery health.

Jog Dial and On/Off Toggle

The Centaurus N100 uses a rotating jog dial around the fire button rather than a traditional up/down button arrangement. Turning the dial adjusts wattage, pressing the centre fires the device, and the outer ring contains an LED indicator that shows battery level by colour. A separate sliding on/off toggle switch below the screen powers the device on and off in one movement, removing the need for five-click power sequences. This combination makes one-handed operation straightforward once you are used to the layout.

Translucent Matte Panels

The side panels of the N100 are translucent matte and take their colour names from natural elements: Grey Rock, Blue Thunder, Blue Waves, and Pink Waves. The panels are replaceable without tools, held by magnets, and the colour you choose at purchase defines the panel finish across both sides of the mod. The translucent material gives each colour a semi-transparent depth rather than a flat painted look. Replacement panels in different colours are available separately from Lost Vape if you want to change the look later.

Centaurus Sub Ohm Tank

The Centaurus Sub Ohm Tank included in this kit has a 2ml capacity in its UK TPD-compliant configuration and uses a quarter-turn top cap to open the dual fill ports. The airflow is controlled by a stepless adjustable ring at the base of the tank, which lets you dial between a tighter restricted draw and a more open DTL airflow without fixed stops. The tank uses a top airflow design, which draws air down from the top rather than up from the base, contributing to the leak-resistant performance. It is compatible with the full UB Max coil range, including the 0.15Ω, 0.2Ω, and 0.3Ω variants.

UB Max Coils

Two UB Max coils are included in the kit: a 0.2Ω UB Max X2 coil rated at 60-80W for a DTL vape, and a 0.3Ω UB Max X3 coil rated at 40-60W for a slightly more restricted DTL draw. Both coils use press-fit installation into the base of the tank. For best results, a high-VG e-liquid of 70%+ is recommended, as the mesh coils and open airflow are optimised for thicker freebase shortfills rather than 50/50 or nic salts. The X2 and X3 designations refer to the number of mesh layers in the coil, with more layers generally producing denser vapour at higher wattages.

Each colour name is drawn from natural elements. Grey Rock has a neutral charcoal-toned translucent finish. Blue Thunder is a deeper, darker blue. Blue Waves is a lighter, cooler blue. Pink Waves is the only warm-toned option and has a soft pink translucent finish.
