The Vaporesso Luxe XR Max 2 is an 80W pod mod with a 3200mAh built-in battery, a 0.96-inch TFT colour screen, and adjustable airflow for MTL, RDTL, and DTL vaping. It runs the AXON chipset with three modes: Smart, Pulse, and Eco. Two Luxe XR pods are included, a DTL pod with a pre-installed 0.2 ohm GTX Dual Mesh coil and an MTL pod with a pre-installed 0.8 ohm GTX Mesh coil.

Both pods hold 2ml under UK TPD regulations and accept any replaceable GTX coil from 0.15 to 1.2 ohm, so you can swap coils as your preferences change without replacing the pod. 3200mAh MEGA BATT with USB-C 2A Fast Charging

The Luxe XR Max 2 uses Vaporesso's MEGA BATT technology to pack a 3200mAh battery into a compact chassis measuring 108 x 32.1 x 26.4mm. This is a 14% increase over the original XR Max's 2800mAh battery without adding bulk to the device. At lower wattages with the 0.8 ohm MTL coil, the battery will last most vapers two to three days between charges. At higher wattages with the 0.2 ohm DTL coil, expect a full day or more of heavy use. The USB-C port on the base charges at 5V/2A, which brings the battery from empty to full in around 90 minutes. The screen displays the current battery percentage and estimated charging time while plugged in.

5 to 80W Adjustable Output with AXON Chipset

The AXON chipset provides stable, consistent power delivery from 5W up to 80W. This wide range means the XR Max 2 can run every GTX coil in the range, from the 1.2 ohm MTL coil at 7W up to the 0.15 ohm DTL coil at its full wattage. The 80W ceiling is what makes this device stand out from the Luxe X Pro (40W) and Luxe X3 (45W). If you want to run the 0.2 ohm GTX Dual Mesh coil at its recommended 45 to 60W for big, warm clouds, the XR Max 2 is the device in the Luxe X family that can do it properly. Wattage is adjusted using the controls on the front panel, and the current setting is clearly displayed on the TFT screen.

0.96-Inch TFT Colour Screen with RGB Lighting

The 0.96-inch TFT screen is larger than the 0.54-inch OLED on the original XR Max and displays information in full colour. It shows the current wattage, battery percentage, coil resistance, puff counter, and mode. The screen is bright enough to read in direct sunlight and updates in real time as you adjust settings. Around the screen, dynamic RGB lighting creates visual effects during use. The RGB colours can be customised or turned off entirely if you prefer a cleaner look. The screen and lighting are controlled through the button interface on the front of the device.

Three Modes: Smart, Pulse, and Eco

Smart mode automatically detects the resistance of the installed coil and sets the wattage to a recommended level. This is useful if you frequently swap between MTL and DTL coils and want the device to adjust itself without manual input. Pulse mode adjusts power delivery throughout each puff to maintain consistent flavour from the start to the end of the inhale, which helps when using lower resistance coils that can fade towards the end of a long draw. Eco mode reduces power output slightly to extend battery life, which is handy if you are away from a charger and need the battery to last longer. You can switch between modes through the screen menu.

Adjustable Airflow from MTL to DTL

The airflow slider is on the side of the device and adjusts smoothly from fully closed to fully open. At the tightest setting, it provides a firm MTL draw similar to a cigarette. At the most open setting, it gives a loose, airy DTL pull with maximum vapour. The range between these extremes covers RDTL vaping as well. The airflow adjustment works with any compatible pod, but the draw you achieve also depends on the pod type. The MTL XR pod has a naturally tighter airway than the DTL XR pod, so pairing the right pod with the right airflow setting gives you the most control over your vaping style.

Replaceable GTX Coils from 0.15 to 1.2 Ohm

The Luxe XR pods included with the kit accept any GTX coil in the Vaporesso range. The DTL pod is compatible with the 0.15, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, and 0.6 ohm GTX coils. The MTL pod works with the 0.6, 0.8, and 1.2 ohm GTX coils. The included 0.2 ohm GTX Dual Mesh coil features a dual-layer mesh structure that heats e-liquid more evenly than a single mesh, producing richer flavour and denser vapour at 45 to 60W. The 0.8 ohm GTX Mesh coil runs at 12 to 20W for a tight MTL draw. When a coil wears out, you press-fit a new one into the pod and keep using the same pod, which saves money and reduces waste compared to built-in coil pods. The XR Max 2 also accepts all Luxe X built-in coil pods (0.3, 0.4, 0.6, and 0.8 ohm COREX 2.0) if you prefer the convenience of swapping whole pods instead of individual coils.

2ml Bottom-Fill Pods with SSS Leak-Resistant Technology

Both included XR pods hold 2ml of e-liquid under UK TPD regulations. The fill port is on the bottom of the pod, sealed with a silicone stopper. To fill, remove the pod from the device, turn it upside down, pull the stopper out, and fill to just below the top of the port. Press the stopper firmly back in and reinsert the pod. Vaporesso's SSS leak-resistant technology uses three sealing points to keep e-liquid contained during filling and everyday use. The pods are made from transparent PCTG plastic, so you can check your e-liquid level at a glance. The magnetic connection holds the pod securely in the device and makes removal easy when you need to refill or swap coils.

Bottom Slide-Lock and Silicone Base

The XR Max 2 has a slide-lock switch on the base of the device that locks the button interface and prevents accidental firing when the device is in a pocket or bag. This is a physical lock, not a software lock, so it works reliably every time. The base of the device is finished with a soft silicone foot that prevents the kit from sliding on flat surfaces and protects it from minor impacts when set down. The device is button-activated only, with no draw activation, so the slide-lock is the primary safety feature for preventing unintended firing.

Eight Colours Including Leather Editions

The Luxe XR Max 2 is available in eight colours. Six standard finishes use the zinc alloy chassis with a matte finish and carbon fibre rear panel. Two leather editions wrap the body in textured leather for a different look and grip. The chassis is solid and well-built, and the overall weight of around 117g gives it a premium feel in the hand without being too heavy for pocket carry.

For the 0.2 ohm DTL coil, use 70% VG or higher freebase e-liquid at 3mg or 6mg nicotine. For the 0.8 ohm MTL coil, 50/50 VG/PG e-liquid with nicotine salts at 10mg or 20mg is recommended. Match VG ratio to coil resistance for the best wicking and flavour.
