Vaporesso Xros Corex 3.0 Pods

The Vaporesso Xros Corex 3.0 replacement pods are refillable pods sold in packs of four, compatible with the full Xros series. Each pod has a built-in hive mesh coil using cumulus cotton wicking, which delivers better flavour and a longer-lasting wick than the Corex 2.0 version.

Five resistance options run from 0.4Ω to 1.2Ω, covering tight MTL through to RDTL to suit a wide range of vapers. These are the pods supplied with the Xros 5 and Xros 5 Mini, and are available separately for all other Xros devices.

Hive Mesh Coil and Cumulus Cotton

The hive mesh structure inside each Corex 3.0 pod is made from aerospace-grade, high-temperature-resistant materials. The mesh is thicker around the outer edges and thinner through the centre, which spreads heat more evenly across the coil surface and reduces hotspots. Surrounding the mesh is cumulus cotton, which absorbs e-liquid faster and holds more of it than the cotton used in earlier Xros pod generations. This combination means flavour is consistent from the first draw and holds up for longer before the wick starts to degrade.

Chimney Airway Design

The chimney airway channels vapour directly upward from the coil to the mouthpiece, keeping the draw path clear and consistent throughout the pod's life. A cleaner airflow path reduces condensation buildup inside the pod and limits the gurgling that can develop as a pod ages. It also reduces stress on the coil, contributing to a longer pod lifespan. The draw stays smooth and consistent right up until the wick is due for replacement.

Five Resistance Options: 0.4Ω to 1.2Ω

• 1.2Ω (10W) - Tightest MTL draw, closest to a cigarette feel. Best with 50/50 nic salts at 10mg or 20mg.
• 1.0Ω (12W) - Tight MTL with a touch more vapour. Well suited to 50/50 nic salts at 10mg or 20mg.
• 0.8Ω (16W) - Middle-ground MTL with a slightly warmer draw. Works well with 50/50 nic salts at 10mg. The most popular choice for everyday nic salt vaping.
• 0.6Ω (21W) - RDTL draw, airier and warmer. Suits 50/50 nic salts at 5mg or 10mg.
• 0.4Ω (30W) - Loosest RDTL option with the most vapour. Best with 50/50 or higher-VG e-liquids at lower nicotine strengths. Compatible with the Xros Pro, Xros Pro 2, Xros 4 series and Xros 5 series only.

Top-Fill 2ml Design

Xros Corex 3.0 pods use a clamshell top-fill design. Remove the mouthpiece to reveal the fill port, fill to the maximum line, and replace the mouthpiece securely. The pod stays in the device while you refill, keeping the process quick and tidy. Before using a brand new pod for the first time, fill it fully and leave it upright for five to ten minutes so the cumulus cotton can saturate completely. Skipping this step is the most common cause of a harsh or burnt first draw.

SSS Leak-Resistant Technology

SSS is Vaporesso's internal seal system, which uses silicone seals around the fill port and pod joints to keep e-liquid contained. The clamshell fill design adds a second layer of protection, as the mouthpiece locks over the fill port when closed. Between refills, storing the device upright reduces the chance of any pooling around the seals. If a pod does develop a leak, it is usually a sign the mouthpiece has not been closed fully after the last refill.

Improved Flavour and Longer-Lasting Wick Versus Corex 2.0

Corex 3.0 and Corex 2.0 pods share the same resistances, 2ml capacity, top-fill design and full Xros compatibility. The difference is inside: Corex 2.0 uses a morph-mesh coil and COREX cotton, while Corex 3.0 introduces the hive mesh structure and cumulus cotton described above. The practical result is better flavour from the first draw and a longer period of consistent performance before the pod needs replacing. Both versions are fully interchangeable across all Xros devices.

UK TPD Compliant, 2ml Capacity

All Xros Corex 3.0 pods sold in the UK are 2ml, in line with the Tobacco and Related Products Regulations. A 3ml XL version exists in some international markets but is not stocked here. The 2ml capacity is sufficient for a full day of moderate vaping before needing a top-up, and each pod in the pack comes individually sealed. If you have seen 3ml Corex 3.0 pods listed elsewhere, those are not available through UK retailers.
