Vaporesso GTX Replacement Coils (5 Pack)
The Vaporesso GTX coils are a cross-compatible mesh coil range that fits over 20 Vaporesso kits and pods. Seven single mesh resistances run from 0.15Ω (60 to 75W) down to 1.2Ω (8 to 12W), covering DTL, RDL, and MTL vaping styles. Three dual mesh options are also available at the lower resistances for stronger flavour and denser vapour.
All GTX coils use a plug-and-play installation, flax cotton and non-woven fabric wicking for rapid saturation, and triple silicone O-rings for leak resistance. Sold in packs of five. For coils below 1.0Ω, use high VG e-liquids of 70% VG or above. For the 1.2Ω coil, 50/50 VG/PG e-liquids and nicotine salts work best.

GTX Coil Wattage and Resistance Guide
The GTX range covers everything from high-powered cloud vaping to a tight cigarette-style draw. Lower resistance coils produce more vapour and need more power, while higher resistance coils run at lower wattages and deliver a tighter, cooler draw. The lower resistance coils (0.15Ω to 0.3Ω) use NiChrome (NiCr) mesh for fast ramp-up and warmer vapour. The mid-range and higher resistance coils (0.4Ω to 1.2Ω) use FeCrAl (Kanthal) mesh, which many vapers find produces a wetter, more flavour-forward hit.
GTX 0.15Ω Mesh Coil (60 to 75W, best at 70W) – The highest-powered GTX coil, built for maximum cloud production with a wide-open DTL draw. Best paired with high VG shortfills. This coil also fits the Armour G and Armour GS pod kits.
GTX 0.2Ω Mesh Coil (45 to 60W, best at 55W) – A versatile DTL coil and the most popular in the range. Delivers strong vapour with good flavour at moderate wattages. Works well with 70/30 or max VG e-liquids.
GTX 0.3Ω Mesh Coil (32 to 45W, best at 40W) – A lower-wattage DTL option that uses less battery and e-liquid than the 0.2Ω while still producing satisfying vapour. A good middle ground if you find the 0.2Ω too warm.
GTX 0.4Ω Mesh Coil (26 to 32W, best at 30W) – Sits between DTL and MTL, providing a restricted direct lung draw. The FeCrAl mesh gives a wetter, more flavourful hit. Works with both high VG and 50/50 e-liquids.
GTX 0.6Ω Mesh Coil (20 to 30W, best at 28W) – A restricted draw suited to RDL vaping. Runs cool and pairs well with 50/50 e-liquids and nicotine salts at lower strengths. A popular choice for vapers who want decent vapour without high power.
GTX 0.8Ω Mesh Coil (12 to 20W, best at 18W) – A loose MTL coil with a slightly open draw. Good for nic salts at 10mg or 20mg, or 50/50 freebase e-liquids. Offers more air than the 1.2Ω for vapers who find a tight draw too restrictive.
GTX 1.2Ω Mesh Coil (8 to 12W, best at 11W) – The tightest draw in the GTX range, closest to a cigarette pull. Best with 50/50 or higher PG e-liquids and nicotine salts at 10mg or 20mg. Low power means excellent battery life.
GTX 0.15Ω Dual Mesh Coil – Two mesh elements instead of one for richer flavour and denser vapour at 60 to 75W. The dual mesh version of the 0.15Ω for vapers who want maximum intensity.
GTX 0.2Ω Dual Mesh Coil – Dual mesh at 45 to 60W. Noticeably stronger flavour than the single mesh 0.2Ω at the same wattage, with thicker vapour production.
GTX 0.3Ω Dual Mesh Coil – Dual mesh at 32 to 45W. A good option for vapers who want the boosted flavour of dual mesh at a lower wattage and battery draw.

Flax Cotton and Non-Woven Fabric Wicking
GTX coils use a blend of flax cotton and non-woven fabric rather than standard cotton alone. The flax fibres absorb e-liquid faster and hold more of it against the mesh, which helps prevent dry hits and delivers a fuller, more consistent flavour from start to finish. This wicking material is a key reason GTX coils tend to last longer than many competing coil ranges. Vaporesso also uses antibacterial cotton in the wicking structure to keep the flavour clean over the life of the coil.

Triple Silicone O-Ring Seal
Each GTX coil has three silicone O-rings around the base and top to create a tight seal when installed. This reduces the chance of e-liquid leaking between the coil and the pod or tank, which is a common issue with coil systems that use fewer seals. The triple O-ring design also makes the coil sit more securely in the device, reducing any wobble or loose fit.
Plug-and-Play Installation
GTX coils push into the base of the pod or tank without any screwing or threading. Pull the old coil out and push the new one in until it sits flush. Before your first vape on a new coil, fill the pod or tank and leave it for 5 to 10 minutes so the wicking material can fully absorb the e-liquid. Starting at the lower end of the recommended wattage range and working up gradually over the first few fills helps the coil bed in and last longer.
Compatible Devices
GTX coils fit a wide range of Vaporesso kits and pods. The most popular compatible devices include:
- Vaporesso Armour G, Armour GS, and Armour Ultra
- Vaporesso Luxe X, Luxe X2, Luxe X Pro, Luxe XR Max, and Luxe XR Max 2
- Vaporesso Luxe 80, Luxe 80S, and Luxe PM40
- Vaporesso Swag PX80
- Vaporesso GTX One, GTX GO 40, and GTX GO 80
- Vaporesso Gen PT60, Gen PT80 S, Gen Nano, and Gen Air 40
- Vaporesso Target 80, Target PM30, Target PM80, and Target PM80 SE
Not all GTX coils fit every device in the list above. The Luxe PM40 only takes 0.6Ω, 0.8Ω, and 1.2Ω coils. The 0.15Ω coil fits the Armour G and Armour GS but not all older GTX devices. Always check your kit's manual if you are unsure. GTX coils are a separate platform from GTi coils, which are used in the iTank and iTank 2 sub-ohm tanks, so the two types are not interchangeable.
E-Liquid Recommendations
The right e-liquid depends on which GTX coil you are using. For coils below 1.0Ω (0.15Ω to 0.8Ω), high VG e-liquids of 70% VG or above are recommended for the best wicking and vapour production. Freebase nicotine at 3mg to 6mg suits these sub-ohm coils well. For the 0.8Ω coil, 50/50 e-liquids and nic salts at 10mg or 20mg also work nicely given its lower wattage. For the 1.2Ω MTL coil, 50/50 VG/PG or higher PG e-liquids are the best match, and nicotine salts at 10mg or 20mg are ideal for a smooth, satisfying throat hit at low power.
