The Vaporesso Xros Corex 2.0 replacement pods are refillable pods sold in packs of four, compatible with every device in the XROS series. Each pod contains a built-in Morph-Mesh coil wrapped in high-density Corex cotton, which heats evenly and keeps the wick saturated for consistent flavour. Five resistance options are available, covering tight MTL through to RDTL, so you can match the pod to your preferred draw style and nicotine strength. These are not prefilled pods; you fill them yourself with your chosen e-liquid via the top-fill port. If you are also considering the Corex 3.0 version, both share the same resistances, compatibility and price, with the 3.0 using a thinner wire for marginally improved flavour.

Corex 2.0 vs Corex 3.0

Corex 2.0 and Corex 3.0 pods share the same five resistances, the same 2ml capacity, the same top-fill design and the same full XROS device compatibility. The difference is in the coil construction: Corex 3.0 uses a thinner wire within the Morph-Mesh structure, increasing the surface area and producing marginally improved flavour compared to the 2.0 version. For most vapers the practical difference is subtle, and both versions perform significantly better than the original XROS pods. If Corex 2.0 is in stock and 3.0 is not, the 2.0 will serve you well.

Corex Coil Technology

Corex is Vaporesso's integrated coil system for the XROS pod range. Rather than a round-wire coil, it uses a Morph-Mesh structure, which is a fine grid that distributes heat more evenly across the surface and reduces hotspots. The high-density Corex cotton wicks e-liquid efficiently, reducing the risk of dry hits when the pod is running low. Because the coil is built into the pod, you replace the whole pod when flavour drops rather than swapping a separate coil.

Which Resistance to Choose

• 1.2Ω (10W) - Tightest MTL draw, closest to a cigarette feel. Best with 50/50 nic salts at 10mg or 20mg.
• 1.0Ω (12W) - Tight MTL with a touch more vapour. Well suited to 50/50 nic salts at 10mg or 20mg.
• 0.8Ω (16W) - Middle-ground MTL with a slightly warmer draw. Works well with 50/50 nic salts at 10mg.
• 0.6Ω (21W) - RDTL draw, airier and warmer. Suits 50/50 nic salts at 5mg or 10mg. The most commonly pre-installed resistance across XROS kits.
• 0.4Ω (30W) - Loosest RDTL option with the most vapour. Best with 50/50 or higher-VG e-liquids at lower nicotine strengths. Device restrictions apply, see compatibility below.

How Long Do XROS Pods Last

A typical Xros Corex pod lasts around one week with regular daily use. Lighter vapers often find they get closer to ten days or two weeks from each pod. How long a pod lasts depends on how frequently you vape, the e-liquid you use (sweeter, high-sucralose liquids tend to degrade cotton faster), and whether you swap flavours regularly. When flavour starts to drop or you notice a slightly burnt taste, that is the signal to replace the pod.

Top-Fill Design and Priming

XROS pods are filled from the top by removing the mouthpiece to reveal the fill port, which is marked with a red silicone seal. The pod stays in the device while you refill, keeping the process quick and tidy. Before using a brand new pod for the first time, fill it to the top and leave it to stand upright for five to ten minutes so the Corex cotton can fully saturate. Skipping this step is the most common cause of a harsh or burnt first draw. When topping up a pod that is already in use, there is no need to wait.
