VOOPOO TPP Coils for Drag 3 and Drag X Plus

VOOPOO TPP replacement coils are sold in packs of three and cover the full DTL and RDL wattage range used across the TPP platform. Four variants are available: the DM1, DM2, DM3 and DM4, spanning 0.15 Ohm to 0.3 Ohm and 32W to 100W.

All four use a mesh heating element and press-fit installation, and all are designed for high-VG shortfills or freebase nicotine at no more than 10mg. TPP coils fit the TPP Pod Tank used across the VOOPOO Drag 3, Drag X Plus, Drag X Pro, Drag S Pro, Argus GT 2 and Argus MT.

TPP-DM1: 0.15 Ohm, 60 to 80W

The TPP-DM1 is the mid-range high-power option in the TPP lineup, running at 0.15 Ohm with a recommended wattage of 60 to 80W. It delivers a fully open DTL draw with strong vapour production and works best with high-VG shortfills. This is the most popular all-round TPP coil and a good starting point for vapers on devices such as the Drag 3 or Drag X Plus running in the 60 to 80W range.

TPP-DM2: 0.2 Ohm, 40 to 60W

The TPP-DM2 runs at 0.2 Ohm with a recommended wattage of 40 to 60W, making it the lowest-power DTL option in the range. It suits vapers whose devices top out in the 40 to 60W range or those who prefer a slightly cooler, less intense DTL draw. High-VG or 60/40 e-liquids with freebase nicotine at up to 10mg work best in this coil.

TPP-DM3: 0.15 Ohm, 80 to 100W

The TPP-DM3 shares the same 0.15 Ohm resistance as the DM1 but is built for higher wattage, running at 80 to 100W. It is designed for vapers who want maximum vapour volume and cloud output and requires a device capable of at least 80W. The DM3 runs hotter and harder than the DM1 at the same resistance and is best paired with a high-VG shortfill on a high-powered device such as the Drag 3 at its upper wattage range.

TPP-DM4: 0.3 Ohm, 32 to 40W

The TPP-DM4 runs at 0.3 Ohm with a recommended wattage of 32 to 40W, producing a half-DTL or restricted DTL draw rather than a fully open lung inhale. It is the most accessible coil in the TPP range for vapers coming from lower-powered devices and suits those who find the DM2 too open or intense. High-VG or 70/30 e-liquids work well at this resistance, and freebase nicotine at up to 10mg is recommended.

Mesh Heating Element

All four TPP variants use a mesh heating element rather than a round-wire construction. Mesh covers a larger surface area, heats more evenly across its face and produces consistent flavour from the first draw through to the end of the coil's life. Heat-up time is faster than a round-wire equivalent at the same wattage, and the mesh construction is more resistant to dry hits during normal use. Sweetened e-liquids and dessert flavours containing sucralose will shorten coil life on any mesh coil, so pairing TPP coils with quality, low-sucralose e-liquids will extend how long each coil lasts.

Press-Fit Installation

TPP coils press directly into the base of any TPP-compatible pod or tank without threading or tools. Removing a spent coil is done by pushing it out from the opposite end. Before first use, fit the coil, fill the pod or tank, and allow at least five minutes for the wick to saturate before vaping. Starting at the lower end of the coil's wattage range and increasing gradually helps avoid a dry hit on the first draw and extends the coil's working life.
