VOOPOO Argus Top Fill Cartridge

The VOOPOO Argus top fill cartridge is the official replacement pod for the VOOPOO Argus range of vape kits, sold in a convenient pack of three. Each pod holds 2ml of e-liquid in line with UK TPD regulations and features a top-fill port covered by a silicone stopper, making refills quick and tidy whether you are at home or out and about. The pods come with a built-in mesh coil, so there is no separate coil to install or replace.

Available in three resistance options, these Argus vape pods cover both mouth-to-lung and restricted direct-to-lung vaping styles. The magnetic connection snaps the pod securely into any compatible Argus device, and the PCTG construction keeps the body lightweight and durable.

2ml E-Liquid Capacity

Each VOOPOO Argus pod holds 2ml of e-liquid, the maximum permitted under UK TPD regulations. The transparent PCTG body makes it easy to check your liquid level at a glance, so you will not be caught short mid-day. At typical usage, most vapers find a single pod lasts one to two weeks before flavour quality begins to drop and a fresh one is needed.

Top-Fill Silicone Stopper Port

The top-fill design on these Argus top fill pods puts the fill port on the uppermost face of the cartridge, covered by a firm silicone stopper. Press the stopper aside, insert your bottle nozzle, fill to the 2ml line, and press it back into place. You do not need to remove the pod from the device to refill, which makes the whole process noticeably faster. This is one of the reasons the Argus top fill cartridge has become the preferred choice over older side-fill designs.

Built-In Mesh Coil

Rather than using a separate replaceable coil, each of these Argus pods has the coil built directly into the cartridge body. The mesh construction heats e-liquid across a wide surface area, producing consistent vapour and clear flavour from the first draw. When the coil reaches the end of its life, you simply swap out the entire pod rather than handling a loose coil. This approach keeps maintenance straightforward and avoids the dry hits that can occur when a traditional coil is close to burning out.

Three Resistance Options: 0.4 Ohm, 0.7 Ohm, 1.0 Ohm

Choose the resistance that suits your vaping style:

• 0.4 Ohm - Restricted direct-to-lung (RDTL) vaping. Best run at 18 to 30W. Produces more vapour and a warmer draw. Not compatible with the Argus P1 or Argus Z.
• 0.7 Ohm - The most versatile option. Mouth-to-lung vaping at 14 to 18W. A good all-round choice for everyday use.
• 1.0 Ohm - Tight mouth-to-lung draw at 10 to 14W. Pairs well with higher-strength nic salts and suits vapers transitioning from cigarettes.

Magnetic Pod Connection

All VOOPOO Argus pods attach to the device via a built-in magnetic connection, meaning the pod drops into place without any alignment fiddling or pressing. The magnet holds the pod firmly during use, preventing it from working loose in a pocket or bag. Removing the pod for refilling or swapping is equally straightforward: pull it away from the device with a light tug and it comes free cleanly.

Multi-Layer Leak-Proof Design

VOOPOO's ARGUS top fill cartridge uses a multi-layer construction around the coil chamber and fill port to reduce the chance of e-liquid seeping out during normal use. The silicone stopper on the top-fill port forms a firm seal once pressed back into place. Keeping the pod upright when not in use and avoiding overfilling beyond the 2ml mark will help maintain the seal over the life of the cartridge.

PCTG Pod Material

The pod body is made from PCTG, a food-safe plastic that is both impact-resistant and resistant to discolouration from e-liquids over time. PCTG is commonly used in vape pods because it holds its structure well, does not react with PG or VG-based e-liquids, and stays clear so the liquid level remains visible. The lightweight nature of the material also means the pod adds very little weight to your device when fitted.

4-Hole Symmetrical Airflow Inlet

The base of each Argus refill pod features four evenly spaced airflow inlets arranged symmetrically around the coil. This arrangement distributes incoming air evenly across the coil surface, which promotes consistent vapour production and reduces the likelihood of one-sided hotspots. The balanced airflow also contributes to a smoother draw that stays consistent from a full pod right through to the last few millilitres of e-liquid.

Works with Nic Salt and 50/50 Freebase E-Liquids

VOOPOO recommends using these Argus pods with e-liquids that have a 50% PG ratio or higher, which includes most nic salt 10ml bottles and standard 50/50 freebase liquids. Thinner, higher-PG liquids wick through the coil more efficiently and help the mesh coil stay saturated between puffs. High-VG shortfills, which are thicker in consistency, are not recommended as they can struggle to wick fast enough and may shorten coil life. For vapers switching from disposables or transitioning from cigarettes, 20mg nic salt paired with the 0.7 Ohm or 1.0 Ohm pod gives a close, satisfying draw.
