The Vaporesso Armour GS is a sturdy, full-featured pod kit that runs on a single 18650 battery and outputs between 5 and 80W. It ships with a DTL Armour G Series pod and two sub-ohm GTX mesh coils (0.15Ω and 0.3Ω), but the full GTX coil range is compatible, so you can also pick up an MTL pod and higher-resistance coils to suit a tighter draw. The body is built from a metal frame with leather-style grip panels, and there is a 0.96-inch TFT colour screen on the front for adjusting settings.

It suits vapers who want a removable battery for swapping on the go and the flexibility to switch between vaping styles without changing device. If you would prefer a built-in battery instead, the Vaporesso Armour G Pod Kit uses the same pods and coils but has a fixed 3000mAh cell in a slightly more compact body.

Removable 18650 Battery

The Armour GS takes a single 18650 battery, which is sold separately. This means you can carry a spare and swap it in when the first one runs flat, making it a strong option for heavier vapers or anyone who spends long periods away from a charger. The battery door is on the base of the device and slides open by pressing firmly on the textured section. If you are new to removable batteries, make sure you buy a reputable 18650 cell rated for at least 20A continuous discharge. For those who would rather not deal with separate batteries, the Armour G kit offers the same features and pod compatibility but with a built-in 3000mAh battery that charges over USB-C.

5 to 80W Adjustable Output

You can set the wattage anywhere from 5W right up to 80W using the adjustment buttons below the screen. The included 0.15Ω GTX coil runs best between 60 and 75W, while the 0.3Ω coil sits in the 32 to 45W range. If you add lower-wattage MTL coils later, the Armour GS handles those just as well at the lower end of its range. Having this full spread means you are not locked into one vaping style.

AXON Chipset with Smart, Pulse and Eco Modes

The AXON chip inside the Armour GS offers three vaping modes. Smart Mode reads the coil resistance when you insert a pod and automatically sets the wattage to a safe starting point, which is helpful if you are trying a new coil for the first time. Neo Pulse Mode pushes a stronger, more consistent output from the first puff to the last, even as the battery drains. Eco Mode reduces the power output to conserve battery life when you are running low and cannot charge straight away.

0.96-Inch TFT Colour Screen with Three Themes

The front-mounted TFT display shows your current wattage, coil resistance, battery level, puff count, and active mode at a glance. You can choose from three animated themes through the settings menu, accessed by pressing the fire button three times. The screen also shows whether the device is locked or unlocked. Brightness is adjustable, and the LED side lights that glow when you fire the device can be turned off if you prefer a more discreet look.

Armour G Series Pod with 2ml Capacity

The included Armour G Series DTL pod holds 2ml of e-liquid under UK TPD regulations. It is made from transparent PCTG, so you can see your liquid level clearly. The pod connects to the device magnetically and holds firm with no wobble. A removable 510 drip tip sits on top, and you can swap it for a different mouthpiece if you prefer. An MTL version of the pod is available separately for tighter-draw vaping with higher-resistance coils.

Compatible with the Full Vaporesso GTX Coil Range

The Armour GS works with every coil in the Vaporesso GTX series. The kit comes with the 0.15Ω mesh coil (60 to 75W) and the 0.3Ω mesh coil (32 to 45W), both aimed at DTL vaping with plenty of vapour and flavour. For a restricted draw, the 0.4Ω (26 to 32W) and 0.6Ω (20 to 30W) coils work well in the DTL pod with the airflow tightened. If you pick up the MTL pod, the 0.8Ω (12 to 20W) and 1.2Ω (8 to 12W) coils give you a proper mouth-to-lung draw.

Top Airflow with 4-Level Adjustment

A rotating ring near the top of the pod controls the airflow across four settings. Turning it towards the closed position tightens the draw for a more restricted inhale, while opening it fully lets more air through for bigger clouds. Because the airflow sits at the top rather than the base, liquid is much less likely to leak through the air channels. The adjustment stays firm once set, so it will not shift in your pocket.

Top-Fill System with SSS Leak Resistant Technology

Refilling is done through a rubber-stoppered port on the top of the pod. Lift the stopper, insert your bottle nozzle, and fill up to the 2ml line. You do not need to remove the pod from the device to refill. Vaporesso's SSS (Super Smooth Structure) technology at the base of the pod locks condensation inside and stops it from reaching the contact pins, keeping the connection clean between the pod and the mod.

Metal Frame with Leather-Style Grip Panels

The Armour GS body is constructed from a lightweight metal alloy with curved edges that sit comfortably in the hand. The rear panel uses a material inspired by automotive seating, giving a leather-like texture that improves grip without adding bulk. At 126 x 39 x 28mm, it is slightly taller than the Armour G to accommodate the 18650 battery compartment, but still compact enough to pocket easily.

USB-C Charging at 5V/2A

A USB-C port on the front of the device allows you to charge the 18650 battery inside the Armour GS at up to 2A. However, for longer battery lifespan, many vapers prefer to charge 18650 cells in a dedicated external charger. The device supports pass-through vaping, so you can use it while it charges. Five clicks of the fire button turns the device on or off, and the slider lock switch below the screen prevents accidental firing in your pocket.
