OXVA XLIM Stainless Steel Replacement Pods

The OXVA XLIM SS Top-Fill Pods are stainless steel mesh replacement pods built for the XLIM series of pod vape kits. They are sold in packs of three and available in 0.6 ohm, 0.8 ohm, and 1.2 ohm resistance options, covering both MTL and restricted direct-to-lung vaping styles. Each pod holds 2ml of e-liquid in a PCTG body with a top-fill design, so you can refill without removing the pod from your device.

When paired with the XLIM Pro 2 DNA kit, these SS pods unlock precision temperature control and dry hit prevention through the Evolv DNA chipset. They also fit all other XLIM devices (except the XLIM C), though the advanced temperature control features are exclusive to the DNA model.

Stainless Steel Mesh Coils

Unlike the standard kanthal XLIM pods, the SS versions use stainless steel mesh coil elements. Stainless steel heats quickly and evenly, which helps produce a cleaner, more consistent flavour across a range of e-liquids. The mesh design increases the surface area in contact with the wick, improving vapour production without needing higher wattages. For most vapers, the result is noticeably improved flavour clarity compared to standard pods.

Three resistance options let you match the pod to your preferred vaping style. The 0.6 ohm pod suits a warmer, slightly airier restricted direct-to-lung draw and works well between 15 and 20W. The 0.8 ohm pod offers a balanced mouth-to-lung vape, ideal for nic salts at around 10 to 15W. The 1.2 ohm pod delivers a tight, cigarette-style draw at lower wattages of 8 to 12W, making it a good choice for anyone transitioning from smoking. All three options handle both freebase and nicotine salt e-liquids comfortably.

2ml TPD-Compliant Capacity

Each pod holds 2ml of e-liquid, meeting UK TPD regulations. The PCTG pod body includes a transparent viewing window so you can check your liquid level without guessing. This capacity pairs well with the integrated coils, giving you a solid amount of vaping time between refills without the pods becoming bulky or heavy.

Top-Fill Design with Silicone Seal

Refilling is straightforward. Lift the silicone stopper at the top of the pod to access the fill port, add your e-liquid, then press the stopper back into place. On most XLIM devices, you can do this without removing the pod from the kit. The sealed design helps prevent leaks and keeps things tidy, which is especially useful if you are topping up on the go.

Up to 30% Longer Coil Life Than Standard XLIM Pods

OXVA rates the stainless steel pods for up to 30% longer life compared to their standard kanthal equivalents. In practice, most vapers report getting one to two weeks of use from each pod, depending on the e-liquid type and how often they vape. The SS mesh construction handles heat more efficiently, which reduces coil degradation over time and helps maintain consistent flavour for longer.

Temperature Control Support with XLIM Pro 2 DNA

When used with the OXVA XLIM Pro 2 DNA kit, the stainless steel coils allow the Evolv DNA chipset to regulate temperature automatically. This means the device adjusts power output in real time to prevent the coil from overheating, keeping your flavour consistent from the first puff to the last. The DNA kit also supports Replay mode, which locks in a specific puff profile so you get the same draw every time.

Dry Hit and Anti-Burn Protection (DNA Devices)

One of the biggest advantages of using these SS pods with the DNA chipset is dry hit prevention. The temperature control system detects when the wick is running low on liquid and reduces power before the coil can burn. This protects both the coil and your throat, and it means you can vape with confidence even as your pod runs low. On non-DNA XLIM devices, the pods still perform well but this smart protection is not available.

Magnetic Pod Connection

The pods click into your XLIM device using a magnetic connection that holds them firmly in place. Swapping pods takes just a couple of seconds, and the magnets are strong enough to prevent any accidental disconnection during normal use. There is no twisting or locking mechanism to worry about.

Compatible with Nic Salts and Freebase E-Liquids

All three resistance options work well with both nicotine salt and freebase e-liquids. A 50/50 VG/PG ratio is recommended for the best wicking and flavour. Higher-resistance pods (0.8 ohm and 1.2 ohm) pair particularly well with nic salts, while the 0.6 ohm pod handles freebase liquids smoothly for a warmer, fuller draw. When filling a new pod for the first time, leave it to stand for a couple of minutes before vaping to let the coil saturate fully.
