The Lost Vape Thelema Elite 40 is a compact refillable pod kit with a 1400mAh built-in battery, 40W maximum output, and the Quest 2.0 chipset. It covers both MTL and RDL vaping in a single device, switching between styles by changing the included E Plus pod and adjusting the side airflow slider. The body is zinc alloy with a PU leather grip panel and comes in nine colour and material options.

The 0.69-inch OLED screen shows wattage, resistance, battery level via a 5-bar indicator, and a puff counter. Firing is button-activated or auto-draw. Two E Plus pods are included: a 0.3Ω for RDL and a 0.6Ω for MTL. The kit also supports the E-Plus RBA cartridge and URSA pods via a separate adapter, both sold separately. A lanyard is included.

40W Output and Quest 2.0 Chipset

The Thelema Elite 40 runs from 5W to 40W via the Quest 2.0 chipset with Boost function. When a pod is inserted, the device reads the coil resistance and suggests an appropriate wattage: 40W maximum for the 0.3Ω pod and 22W maximum for the 0.6Ω pod. Wattage is adjusted using the fire button and confirmed on the OLED screen. Safety features include low battery protection, short-circuit protection, 10-second overtime cut-off, overheating protection, and overcharge protection. The Boost function in the Quest 2.0 chip maintains consistent power delivery even as the battery depletes, so the vape does not weaken noticeably as the charge drops.

1400mAh Battery and Charging

The 1400mAh built-in battery charges via the Type-C port at 5V/1.4A, with a full charge taking around 80 minutes. Pass-through vaping is supported. The OLED screen displays a 5-bar battery indicator so you can monitor remaining charge at a glance. Battery life varies by wattage: at 40W on the 0.3Ω pod the battery drains faster, while the 0.6Ω pod at 22W uses considerably less power and will last most vapers a full day on a single charge. The Type-C charging cable is included in the box.

Airflow and Vaping Styles

The airflow slider is on the front face of the device, below the screen. It moves continuously between a tight MTL draw and a fully open RDL draw with no fixed stops. The 0.6Ω pod is designed for MTL at up to 22W, and closing the airflow to its tightest setting gives the closest feel to a cigarette draw. The 0.3Ω pod performs best with the airflow fully or mostly open at higher wattages and is suited to RDL vapers who want more vapour. Auto-draw activation works alongside button-fire with both standard E Plus pods. The airflow slider, screen, and charging port are all on the same side of the device.

E Plus Pods

Two E Plus pods are included in the kit. Both have a 2ml capacity (UK TPD), a side-fill with a silicone plug, and a magnetic connection to the device.

• The 0.3Ω pod is for RDL vaping at up to 40W and works best with 70%+ VG shortfill e-liquids.
• The 0.6Ω pod is for MTL vaping at up to 22W and works best with nic salts or 50/50 e-liquids.

Replacement E Plus pods are available separately on this site in packs of three, in 0.3Ω, 0.45Ω, and 0.6Ω variants.

Build and Design

The Thelema Elite 40 has a zinc alloy frame with a PU leather grip panel on the back. The leather panel is what sets the visual character of most colour options, with variants including carbon fibre-style finishes, textured prints, and the newer Lux Edition finishes. At 84 x 36 x 18mm and around 81g with a pod fitted, it is compact and comfortable to hold in one hand. The fire button protrudes slightly for easy location by feel. The mouthpiece on the E Plus pod has a duckbill shape that suits both MTL and RDL styles.

RBA and URSA Cartridge Compatibility

The Thelema Elite 40 is compatible with the E-Plus RBA cartridge, an optional rebuildable pod attachment sold separately. It accepts custom coil builds and comes with four interchangeable airflow pins, and is button-fire only. The device also accepts Lost Vape URSA pod cartridges (0.6Ω, 0.8Ω, 1.0Ω, 1.2Ω) via the URSA Cartridge Adapter, which is sold separately. The URSA pods give tighter MTL options not available through the standard E Plus pod range. Both accessories are compatible with the standard Thelema Elite 40 and the Thelema Elite Art 40.

Thelema Elite 40 vs Thelema Elite Art 40

The standard Thelema Elite 40 and the Thelema Elite Art 40 share the same battery, wattage, chipset, and pod compatibility. The differences are in the body design and form factor:

• The Elite 40 has a PU leather grip panel and an opaque body; the Art 40 has a fully transparent upper section with no leather.
• The Elite 40 has a larger 0.69-inch OLED screen; the Art 40 has a smaller 0.42-inch screen.
• The Elite 40 is slightly heavier at ~81g vs ~72g for the Art 40.
• The Elite 40 charges in ~80 minutes; the Art 40 charges in ~36 minutes.
• The Elite 40 comes in 9 colour options with leather and carbon finishes; the Art 40 comes in 6 cyberpunk-style transparent colours.
• The Art 40 has a visible e-liquid window thanks to its transparent body; the Elite 40 requires you to remove the pod to check the e-liquid level.
