Lost Vape Centaurus M100 Mod
The Lost Vape Centaurus M100 is a single-battery regulated box mod built from aircraft-grade aluminium and stainless steel, running up to 100W from one 18650 battery. It uses Lost Vape's Quest 2.0 chipset and features a 3-in-1 jog dial in place of traditional adjustment buttons, combining the fire button, wattage wheel, and LED battery indicator into a single rotary control. A sliding on/off switch sits below the screen for fast powering up or down without pressing the fire button multiple times.
The spring-loaded, gold-plated 510 connector accepts most tanks up to 26mm in diameter. Both side panels are magnetic and snap off without tools, giving you an easy way to change the look of the device. The Centaurus M100 is available in eight colour options and is sold here as a standalone mod. Lost Vape has been one of the most respected names in regulated mod hardware for a number of years, and the Centaurus M100 is the compact single-battery version of the Centaurus M200.

100W Output and Quest 2.0 Chipset
The Centaurus M100 runs from 5W up to 100W in Variable Wattage mode, with the Quest 2.0 chipset handling power delivery and safety management. The chipset also supports a DIY mode, which is designed for use with rebuildable atomisers and gives you manual control over power output without the mod auto-adjusting based on resistance. Wattage is adjusted via the rotary jog dial in 0.5W increments. The Quest 2.0 is Lost Vape's proprietary chipset and is also used in the Centaurus B60, B80, and other devices in the Centaurus range.
Single 18650 Battery
The Centaurus M100 takes one external 18650 battery, which is not included in the box. The battery door is on the base of the mod and uses a magnetic catch, so no screws or clips are needed to swap the battery out. For everyday use at moderate wattages (40-60W), a quality high-drain 18650 such as a Sony VTC5A or Samsung 30Q should comfortably last a full day before needing a charge or swap. In-mod USB-C charging is supported, though Lost Vape and most experienced vapers recommend using an external charger for better long-term battery health. The LED ring on the jog dial indicates battery level with colour changes as charge drops.

3-in-1 Jog Dial Interface
Rather than the typical three-button layout found on most box mods, the Centaurus M100 uses a single jog dial around the fire button. Rotating the outer ring adjusts wattage. The centre of the dial is the fire button. The outer ring also contains an LED ring that changes colour to indicate battery level. This arrangement takes a short adjustment if you are used to traditional up/down buttons, but once familiar it lets you make wattage changes and fire with a single hand. Screen lock is activated with three rapid clicks of the fire button.

Sliding On/Off Switch
A physical sliding switch on the front of the mod below the screen turns the device on and off. This is a distinctive feature of the Centaurus M100, removing the usual five-click power sequence required on most regulated mods. The switch takes the device from fully off to ready to fire in one movement. This is useful if you carry the mod in a bag or pocket, as the device will not accidentally fire while off. The switch sits flush with the body when in either position and is easy to operate with a thumb.
0.96-Inch TFT Screen
The Centaurus M100 has a 0.96-inch TFT screen that displays wattage, coil resistance, battery level, and current vaping mode. The screen is bright and clear enough for everyday use in most lighting conditions. Three rapid clicks of the fire button locks the display and prevents accidental setting changes. The menu system is navigated through the jog dial, with mode changes accessible after five quick clicks of the fire button. The display is compact given the overall size of the mod and positioned centrally on the front face above the jog dial.
Temperature Control
The Quest 2.0 chipset supports full temperature control for Nickel (Ni200), Titanium (Ti), and Stainless Steel (SS316L) coils, covering a range of 100-315°C. Temperature control mode is accessible through the mod's menu system and is most useful when pairing the Centaurus M100 with a rebuildable atomiser loaded with a supported wire type. For vapers using standard pre-built coils in a sub-ohm tank, Variable Wattage mode is the more practical option. TC mode offers consistent vapour temperature on each draw and can extend coil life by preventing dry-fire events when the tank runs low.
Magnetic Side Panels
Both side panels of the Centaurus M100 are removable and held in place with magnets. They pull away with fingernail pressure at the base of the panel and snap back into position without tools. The panels have the Centaurus logo engraved on one side and "Lost Vape" on the other. Lost Vape markets these as customisable, with replacement panels in different finishes available separately. The panel colour is what defines the colour variant you are purchasing, so the core mod body is the same across all eight colour options. The "centaurus m100 panel" queries in search data confirm vapers are actively looking into this feature.
510 Connection and Atomiser Compatibility
The Centaurus M100 has a threaded 510 connector with a spring-loaded, gold-plated centre pin. The 510 plate accommodates atomisers up to 26mm in diameter without overhang. At 26mm exactly, the atomiser sits flush with the edge of the mod. Sub-ohm tanks, RTAs, RDAs, and RDTAs with a 510 connection will all fit, making this a versatile mod for vapers who own multiple atomisers. The raised 510 plate keeps the base of your tank off the mod body to avoid scratching. The Centaurus M100 is also the native mod for the Centaurus Sub Coo Tank, which is sold separately as part of the full kit.
