The Vaporesso Xros Pro 2 is a refillable pod kit built around a 2000mAh battery housed in an aerospace-grade magnesium alloy body that weighs just 65g. It is the most powerful and feature-rich device in the Xros range, with a 0.96-inch TFT colour screen, Super Pulse mode for consistent output from full battery to low, and wattage adjustable between 5W and 30W in 0.1W increments.

Two Xros Corex 3.0 pods are included in the box, a 0.4Ω and a 0.6Ω, covering RDTL through to MTL vaping, and the kit is compatible with the full Xros pod range from 0.4Ω to 1.2Ω. It suits vapers who want the portability of a pod kit with the control and battery life of a larger device.

2000mAh Battery

The 2000mAh battery is the largest fitted to any Xros device and represents a 67% increase in capacity over the original Xros Pro. Most vapers get two to three days of use from a single charge with moderate use. Heavier vapers using the 0.4Ω pod at higher wattage will use more power and should expect closer to one to two days. The battery level is displayed clearly on the TFT screen so you can check remaining charge at a glance.

USB-C Fast Charge

The Xros Pro 2 charges via USB-C at 2A, which brings the 2000mAh battery from empty to full in under 30 minutes. This is notably fast for a pod kit with a battery of this size and means a short charge during the day is enough to top the device back up. The charging port is located on the base of the device. A USB-C cable is included in the box.

Magnesium Alloy Body

The chassis is formed from aerospace-grade magnesium alloy, which is lighter and stronger than the aluminium alloy used in most pod kits of this size. At 65g, the Xros Pro 2 is around 30% lighter than comparable large-capacity pod kits despite the 2000mAh battery. The alloy finish is scratch-resistant and handles daily pocket and bag use well. All seven colour options use the same construction and weight.

0.96" TFT Colour Screen

The 0.96-inch TFT colour screen displays wattage, battery level, puff count and coil resistance. When using the 0.4Ω pod, the screen shows the set wattage directly; when using other Xros pods, it shows the active power mode (ECO, Normal or Power) instead. Six display themes are available, selectable via a two-click press of the fire button. The screen is lockable alongside the fire button using the side slide-lock switch.

Super Pulse Mode

Super Pulse mode monitors the battery level in real time and adjusts the output automatically to maintain consistent power delivery as the battery drains. Without it, pod kits typically produce weaker draws as the battery approaches empty. With Super Pulse active, the flavour and vapour production stays consistent from the first puff on a full charge to the last puff before it needs recharging. It works alongside the Smart and ECO modes, which give you additional control over power use and efficiency.

5–30W Adjustable Output

Output is adjustable from 5W to 30W in precise 0.1W steps, which is finer control than most pod kits offer. Wattage is adjusted using three clicks of the fire button when the 0.4Ω pod is fitted. When using the 0.6Ω to 1.2Ω pods, the device switches to ECO, Normal and Power mode selection rather than direct wattage control. The recommended wattage for each pod is: 0.4Ω at 25W, 0.6Ω at 21W, 0.8Ω at 16W, 1.0Ω at 12W and 1.2Ω at 10W.

Button and Draw Activation

The Xros Pro 2 fires by either inhaling or pressing the fire button, and a side slide-lock switch lets you lock the fire button to prevent accidental pocket firing. Importantly, draw activation still works when the button is locked, so you do not need to unlock the device to vape. Button controls use click sequences: one click fires, two clicks changes screen theme, three clicks adjusts wattage (with 0.4Ω pod), four clicks accesses settings, five clicks turns the device on or off.

Adjustable Airflow Slider

The airflow slider sits on the side of the device and can be adjusted independently of the pod or wattage setting. Closing the slider tightens the draw towards a classic MTL feel; opening it loosens the draw for a more airy RDTL vape. For the tightest MTL draw, pair the 1.0Ω or 1.2Ω pod with the slider closed. For the most open RDTL draw, use the 0.4Ω or 0.6Ω pod with the slider fully open.

Smart Puff Tracking

The Xros Pro 2 logs every puff and displays daily and weekly usage charts on the TFT screen. This lets you track how your vaping habits are changing over time and set usage reminders if you want to reduce consumption. Puff count resets daily and the weekly chart gives a seven-day overview. This feature is accessible through the settings menu via four clicks of the fire button.

Corex 3.0 Pods and Xros Compatibility

The kit ships with a 0.4Ω Corex 3.0 pod pre-installed in the device and a 0.6Ω Corex 3.0 pod in the box. Both pods use the hive mesh coil and cumulus cotton wicking of the Corex 3.0 design. The Xros Pro 2 is also compatible with the full Xros pod range from 0.4Ω to 1.2Ω, including Corex 2.0 and older Xros mesh pods. All pods sold for the UK market are 2ml in line with TPD regulations.
