Luxe X COREX 2.0 Mesh Pods

The Vaporesso Luxe X COREX 2.0 pods are refillable replacement pods with built-in mesh coils, available in four resistances from 0.3 to 0.8 ohm. They use upgraded COREX 2.0 heating technology with improved Morph Mesh and COREX Cotton for longer coil life and more consistent flavour than the original Luxe X pods. The 0.3 and 0.4 ohm pods come with a wider mouthpiece for DTL and RDL vaping, while the 0.6 and 0.8 ohm pods have a thinner, redesigned mouthpiece shaped for MTL and restricted DTL draws.

Each pod holds 2ml of e-liquid, fills from the bottom through a silicone stopper, and uses SSS leak-resistant technology. Compatible with the Luxe X, Luxe X2, Luxe X Pro, Luxe XR, Luxe XR Max, and Luxe XR Max 2. Sold in packs of two.

Four Resistances: 0.3, 0.4, 0.6, and 0.8 Ohm

The COREX 2.0 range covers DTL, RDL, and MTL vaping styles across four resistances. The 0.3 ohm pod (32 to 45W) is the lowest resistance option for full DTL vaping with large clouds and warm vapour. The 0.4 ohm pod (26 to 32W) sits between DTL and RDL for a slightly more relaxed draw with strong flavour. The 0.6 ohm pod (20 to 30W) is suited to RDL vaping with a moderate draw and good flavour clarity. The 0.8 ohm pod (12 to 20W) is designed for MTL vaping with the tightest draw in the range, closest to a cigarette-style pull.

COREX 2.0 Heating Technology with Upgraded Morph Mesh

COREX 2.0 is Vaporesso's updated pod coil technology, featuring an improved Morph Mesh heating element and upgraded COREX Cotton wicking. The Morph Mesh structure heats e-liquid more evenly across the coil surface for better flavour accuracy from the first puff to the last. The improved COREX Cotton absorbs e-liquid faster and holds more of it against the mesh, which reduces the chance of dry hits and helps each pod last longer before the flavour starts to drop off. Vaporesso pairs COREX 2.0 with the AXON chipset in compatible devices for consistent power output throughout the life of the pod.

Two Mouthpiece Styles: Wide for DTL, Slim for MTL

The 0.3 and 0.4 ohm pods use a wider mouthpiece that allows more air to pass through, matching the open draw needed for DTL vaping. The 0.6 and 0.8 ohm pods have a thinner, narrower mouthpiece that Vaporesso redesigned specifically for the COREX 2.0 range. This slimmer profile sits more comfortably against the lips and restricts airflow naturally, which improves the feel of MTL and restricted DTL draws. The mouthpiece is built into each pod, so the correct style is always matched to the resistance.

2ml Capacity with Bottom-Fill Silicone Stopper

Each pod holds 2ml of e-liquid (UK TPD compliant) and fills from the bottom through a silicone stopper. Remove the pod from your device, pull out the stopper, insert your bottle nozzle, and fill to just below the top of the port. Push the stopper back in firmly before refitting the pod. Take care not to overfill, as this can cause e-liquid to leak from the fill port when the stopper is replaced. The pods are made from transparent PCTG plastic, so you can check your e-liquid level at a glance without removing the pod.

SSS Leak-Resistant Technology

Vaporesso's SSS (Seal, Saturate, Store) technology uses three sealing points within the pod to keep e-liquid locked inside. The system maintains consistent internal pressure and prevents leaking through the fill port, airflow channels, and mouthpiece. While no pod is completely leak-proof, the SSS design significantly reduces mess during filling and day-to-day use. Storing the device upright when not in use further helps to keep e-liquid away from the airflow path.

Built-In Mesh Coils with Plug-and-Play Pod Swap

The coil is built into each COREX 2.0 pod and cannot be replaced separately. When the flavour drops off or you notice a burnt taste, swap the entire pod for a new one. This keeps maintenance simple: there is no coil to unscrew or install. Before your first vape on a new pod, fill it with e-liquid and leave it to soak for around five minutes so the wicking material can fully saturate. Starting at the lower end of the recommended wattage range for the first few draws helps the coil bed in and last longer.

Compatible with All Luxe X Series Devices

The Luxe X COREX 2.0 pods use the same magnetic connection as every device in the Luxe X family. They fit the Luxe X, Luxe X2, Luxe X Pro, Luxe XR, Luxe XR Max, and Luxe XR Max 2. However, the 0.3 ohm pod needs at least 32W to run at its best, so it is not well suited to the Luxe X2 or any device with a maximum output below 40W. The 0.4, 0.6, and 0.8 ohm pods work well across all devices in the range. These pods are part of the Luxe X platform and are not compatible with XROS devices, which use a different pod connection.

COREX 2.0 vs Original COREX Pods

The COREX 2.0 pods replace the original Luxe X built-in coil pods. The main upgrades are the improved Morph Mesh heating element and better COREX Cotton wicking, which together produce cleaner flavour and a longer pod life before the taste deteriorates. The 0.6 and 0.8 ohm options also get a redesigned thinner mouthpiece that is more comfortable for MTL draws. The 0.3 ohm resistance is new to the COREX 2.0 range and was not available in the original Luxe X pods. If you have been using the original Luxe X pods, COREX 2.0 is a direct replacement that fits the same devices with no changes needed.

COREX 2.0 Pods vs Luxe XR Pods with GTX Coils

The Luxe X platform offers two types of pod: COREX 2.0 pods (built-in coil, swap the whole pod) and Luxe XR empty pods (replaceable GTX coil, swap only the coil). COREX 2.0 pods are simpler to maintain and better suited to vapers who prefer a no-fuss approach. Luxe XR pods with GTX coils give more flexibility because you can change between different GTX coil resistances without buying a new pod each time, which can be more cost-effective in the long run. Both pod types fit all Luxe X series devices. The choice comes down to whether you prefer simplicity (COREX 2.0) or versatility (Luxe XR with GTX coils).

E-Liquid and Nicotine Recommendations by Resistance

For the 0.3 and 0.4 ohm DTL pods, high VG e-liquids of 70% VG or above are recommended with freebase nicotine at 3mg or 6mg. For the 0.6 ohm RDL pod, 50/50 or 60/40 VG/PG e-liquids work well with either freebase nicotine at 6mg or nic salts at lower strengths. For the 0.8 ohm MTL pod, 50/50 VG/PG e-liquids and nicotine salts at 10mg or 20mg are the best match for a smooth, satisfying throat hit at low wattage.
