The Vaporesso Armour Max is a high-power sub-ohm kit built for DTL vapers who want serious output and durability. It runs on two 21700 or two 18650 batteries (sold separately, with 18650 adapter sleeves included) and delivers up to 220W through the AXON chipset. The kit pairs the Armour Max mod with the iTank 2, a 2ml sub-ohm tank that uses Vaporesso's GTi mesh coils for dense vapour and strong flavour.

A full TPU shell covers the mod and tank, giving it proper drop and scratch resistance without adding unnecessary bulk. Available in 9 colours, the Armour Max suits seasoned vapers who want a rugged, powerful setup they can rely on day to day.

Dual 21700 or 18650 Batteries

The Armour Max takes two high-drain batteries, and you can use either 21700 or 18650 cells. Two 18650 adapter sleeves are included inside the mod, so you do not need to buy them separately. 21700 batteries will give you longer run time at higher wattages, while 18650s are a good option if you already have spare cells from another device. The battery door opens with a single button press on the base, and the door mechanism holds the cells securely once locked. Batteries are sold separately.

5 to 220W Adjustable Output

The full wattage range runs from 5W up to 220W, giving you more than enough headroom for the included GTi coils and any 510 atomiser you choose to attach. The included 0.2Ω GTi coil runs best between 60 and 75W, while the 0.4Ω coil sits in the 50 to 60W range. If you pick up the 0.15Ω GTi coil separately, that one really opens up between 75 and 90W for maximum cloud production. Having 220W on tap also means the Armour Max mod works well with rebuildable atomisers that need higher power.

AXON Chipset with Wattage, F(t), Pulse, Eco and TC Modes

The AXON chip offers a full set of vaping modes. Variable Wattage is the most straightforward and where most vapers will start. F(t) mode fine-tunes the voltage throughout each puff for a smoother, more consistent draw. Pulse mode pushes a stronger initial hit for bigger flavour. Eco mode drops the output to conserve battery when you are running low. Temperature Control mode supports nickel, titanium, and stainless steel coil wires, with an adjustable start power range of 5 to 80W and a TCR lock option for more precise control.

0.96-Inch TFT Colour Screen

The front-mounted TFT display shows your wattage, battery level for each cell, coil resistance, puff count, and active mode. Three animated themes are available through the settings menu. Brightness is adjustable, and the layout changes slightly depending on whether you are in wattage mode or temperature control. The screen sits below the Uni-Lock button and above the adjustment buttons, so everything you need is in one place.

iTank 2 Sub-Ohm Tank with 2ml Capacity

The iTank 2 is a proper sub-ohm tank, not a pod. It holds 2ml under UK TPD regulations and features a spring-loaded top cap that pops open when you press the button, making refills quick and clean. A self-closing silicone plug inside the fill port helps prevent leaks when the cap is open. Dual bottom airflow slots let you adjust the draw from wide open to moderately restricted by rotating the ring at the base. A rubber protective cover is included and fits over the glass to guard against accidental breakage. The tank uses a 510 connection, so it can be removed and replaced with any compatible atomiser.

GTi Mesh Coil Series with Press-Fit Installation

The iTank 2 uses Vaporesso's GTi coils, which push into the base of the tank without any screwing. This makes coil swaps fast and tool-free. The kit includes a 0.2Ω GTi mesh coil (60 to 75W) pre-installed and a 0.4Ω GTi mesh coil (50 to 60W) in the box. Two more resistances are available separately: the 0.15Ω (75 to 90W) for maximum vapour, and the 0.5Ω (30 to 40W) for a slightly cooler, more economical vape. All GTi coils use Vaporesso's Morph-Mesh structure and COREX cotton, which Vaporesso says improves vaporisation efficiency and extends coil life by up to 50% compared to standard mesh coils.

Full TPU Body Protection

The entire Armour Max mod is wrapped in TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane), a material used in phone cases and industrial applications for its flexibility and impact resistance. It covers the mod body and extends to the tank with the included protective sleeve. This gives the kit genuine drop and scratch resistance for everyday use. The TPU finish also adds grip, so the mod is less likely to slip out of your hand despite its larger size.

Uni-Lock Combined Fire Button and Lock

The Uni-Lock is a sliding button on the front of the mod that works as both the fire button and the device lock. Slide it in one direction to fire, and in the other to lock the device and prevent accidental activation. It is a different approach to the usual five-click lock system and makes locking and unlocking the Armour Max noticeably quicker, especially one-handed. Five clicks of the button still turns the device on and off as usual.

510 Threaded Connection

The Armour Max uses a standard 510 thread, so you are not limited to the iTank 2. You can fit any 510 atomiser up to around 25.5mm in diameter without overhang. That includes RDAs, RTAs, and RDTAs if you are a rebuilder. Combined with the temperature control modes, this makes the Armour Max mod a versatile platform for more advanced setups beyond the included tank.

USB-C Charging at 5V/2A

A USB-C port on the mod allows you to charge both batteries simultaneously at up to 2A. The screen shows the charge level for each battery individually and an estimated remaining charge time. However, for the best battery longevity, using a dedicated external charger is recommended. The mod supports pass-through vaping, so you can use it while it charges if needed.
