The Vaporesso Armour G is a compact pod kit with a built-in 3000mAh battery and adjustable output from 5 to 80W. It ships with a DTL Armour G Series pod and two GTX mesh coils (0.2Ω and 0.4Ω), so it is ready to vape straight out of the box once you add e-liquid. The full Vaporesso GTX coil range is compatible, and an MTL pod is available separately, so you can switch between mouth-to-lung and direct-to-lung vaping whenever you like.

Wrapped in a metal frame with leather-style grip panels, the Armour G measures just 113 x 38 x 28mm, making it one of the smaller 3000mAh devices on the market. If you would prefer a removable 18650 battery instead, the Vaporesso Armour GS uses the same pods and coils in a slightly larger body.

Built-In 3000mAh Battery with Mega Batt Technology

The Armour G packs a 3000mAh battery into a body that Vaporesso claims is around 30% smaller than other pod kits with the same capacity. Their patented Mega Batt cell technology is designed to deliver stable power output even as the charge drops. In practice, that means consistent flavour and vapour from a full charge right down to the last 10% or so. A full recharge takes roughly 90 minutes over USB-C, which is reasonable for a battery this size.

5 to 80W Adjustable Output

The wattage is set using the plus and minus buttons below the screen. The included 0.2Ω GTX coil runs best between 45 and 60W for a warm, flavourful DTL vape with plenty of cloud. The 0.4Ω coil sits in the 26 to 32W range, producing a slightly cooler draw that works well for restricted direct-to-lung vaping or even higher-strength nicotine salt liquids at the lower end. If you add MTL coils later, the Armour G handles those comfortably at the bottom of its wattage range too.

AXON Chipset with Smart, Pulse and Eco Modes

The AXON chip inside the Armour G gives you three vaping modes. Smart Mode detects the installed coil and automatically sets a suitable wattage, which is useful if you are new to adjustable devices or trying a coil resistance for the first time. Neo Pulse Mode delivers a stronger, more consistent hit from the first puff to the last, even as the battery level falls. Eco Mode lowers the power output to stretch your battery life when you are running low. You can switch between modes through the settings menu, accessed by pressing the fire button three times.

0.96-Inch TFT Colour Screen with Three Themes

The front-mounted TFT display shows your current wattage, coil resistance, battery level, puff count, and active mode. Three animated themes are available, and you can switch between them in the settings menu. Screen brightness is adjustable, and the LED side lights that glow when you fire the device can be turned off if you prefer something more discreet. The slider lock switch below the screen prevents accidental changes to your settings or misfires when the Armour G is in your pocket.

Armour G Series Pod with 2ml Capacity

The included Armour G Series DTL pod holds 2ml of e-liquid under UK TPD regulations. It is made from transparent PCTG plastic, so you can check your liquid level at a glance. The pod connects magnetically and sits firm with no wobble. A removable 510 drip tip allows you to swap the mouthpiece for one that suits your preference. An MTL version of the pod is available separately and features narrower internal airflow channels for a tighter, cigarette-style draw.

Compatible with the Full Vaporesso GTX Coil Range

The Armour G works with every coil in the GTX series. The kit includes the 0.2Ω mesh coil (45 to 60W) and the 0.4Ω mesh coil (26 to 32W), both designed for DTL vaping with high VG e-liquids of 70% VG or above. For a restricted draw, the 0.6Ω (20 to 30W) coil works well paired with 50/50 or 60/40 e-liquids. If you pick up the MTL pod, the 0.8Ω (12 to 20W) and 1.2Ω (8 to 12W) coils give you a proper mouth-to-lung draw with nicotine salt or 50/50 freebase liquids.

Top Airflow with 4-Level Adjustment

A rotating ring near the top of the pod lets you set the airflow across four positions. Turning it towards the closed end tightens the draw for a more restricted inhale, while opening it fully allows a loose, airy hit suited to bigger clouds. Because the airflow sits at the top of the pod rather than the base, e-liquid is far less likely to leak through the air channels. The ring holds its position firmly once set, so it will not shift in your pocket or bag.

Top-Fill System with SSS Leak Resistant Technology

Refilling is done through a rubber-stoppered port on the top of the pod. Lift the stopper, insert your bottle nozzle, and fill up to the 2ml mark. You do not need to remove the pod from the device to refill, which keeps things quick and clean. Vaporesso's SSS (Super Smooth Structure) technology at the base of the pod locks condensation inside and stops it from reaching the contact pins, keeping the connection between the pod and the mod clean over time.

Metal Frame with Leather-Style Grip Panels

The Armour G body is made from a lightweight metal alloy with smooth, curved edges. The rear panel features a leather-style material, split by a metal strip, that Vaporesso says is inspired by automotive seating. It adds grip without making the device bulky or heavy. At 113 x 38 x 28mm and roughly 140g, the Armour G fits comfortably in a hand or a trouser pocket. The build quality feels solid and holds up well to everyday knocks.

USB-C Fast Charging at 5V/2A

The USB-C charging port sits on the front of the device, below the screen. With 2A charging, a flat battery takes around 90 minutes to reach full. The Armour G supports pass-through vaping, so you can use it while it charges if needed. Five clicks of the fire button turns the device on or off, and the slider lock switch prevents the fire button and wattage buttons from activating in your pocket.
