These are the replacement pods for the PIXL Duo 12 prefilled pod kit, also listed as PIXL Duo 12 refill pods, PIXL Duo pods, or PIXL Duo replacement pods. Each pack contains two complete refill sets: a 1ml prefilled mesh coil pod and a 5ml e-liquid container per side, giving you 12ml total and roughly 1,200 puffs per pack.

The pods come prefilled and sealed. They are not refillable - when a set runs out, you swap it for a fresh one. There is no filling or priming involved; the 5ml container feeds the pod gradually, which is how you get 12ml of capacity from what looks like a 1ml pod.

What's in the Pack

Each pack contains two complete refill sets. One set covers one side of the PIXL Duo 12 device and includes a 1ml prefilled mesh coil pod plus a 5ml e-liquid container. The pod clips into the top of the container and then the whole assembly fits into the battery unit in place of the used set. This three-part system is the same design as the original kit contents, so setup is identical to when you first used the device.

E-Liquid and Nicotine

Every edition uses 20mg (2%) nic salt e-liquid. Nic salt delivers nicotine more smoothly than freebase at the same strength, which is why it's the standard choice for MTL devices like this one. The draw is mouth-to-lung, close to a cigarette-style inhale, and the 20mg level gives a satisfying hit without harshness. High VG or shortfill e-liquids are not compatible with this system.

Mesh Coil Performance

The mesh coil is built into the pod and cannot be replaced separately. Mesh construction heats more evenly than a single wire coil, which means better flavour consistency and fewer dry hits as the pod runs low. You'll get roughly 600 puffs per individual pod before it needs replacing, or approximately 1,200 puffs across both pods in the pack. Puff counts are approximate and will vary depending on how long each draw is.

Prefilled vs Refillable

These pods are sealed and prefilled at the factory. They cannot be topped up or refilled once the e-liquid runs out. When a pod is empty, the whole pod and container set is discarded and replaced with a fresh one from a new pack. This keeps the system clean and consistent but does mean ongoing cost is tied to buying replacement packs rather than separate e-liquid bottles.
