Battery and Charging

The 850mAh battery is built in and not user-replaceable. On standard draw-activated mode it will last most MTL vapers a full day of use on a single charge. Running boost mode throughout will shorten that, but USB-C charging is quick - a short top-up while you eat or sit at a desk keeps you going. The battery percentage displays on the screen rather than a colour-coded LED system, so you get a precise reading rather than a rough estimate. One thing to note: a USB-C cable is not included in the box, so you will need to supply your own.

Boost Mode

Boost mode is the main thing that sets the Pixl 8000 apart from comparable kits. In standard mode you get a smooth, controlled MTL draw that is consistent and undemanding. Double-click the side button and the device steps up its output - vapour production increases, flavour comes through more strongly, and the draw feels warmer and denser. A small fire icon appears on the screen to confirm boost is active. Double-click again to go back to standard. It is useful if a particular flavour is a bit flat at standard output, or when you want more from an evening vape without swapping devices.

Screen and Lock

The LED screen is on the front of the device and updates with every draw. It shows your battery level as a percentage, a fire icon when boost mode is running, and a lock icon when the device is locked. The lock is activated by pressing the side button five times quickly - the same five-click method used on most pod kits and vape mods. When locked, the device does not fire on an accidental draw. If the screen shows E2, the pod is not seated correctly - pull it out, check the gold contacts on the base, and push it back in firmly until it clicks.

Pod and Refill System

The kit ships with a prefilled 2ml pod and a 10ml refill container, both filled with the same flavour at 20mg nic salt. The pod contains the mesh coil and fits magnetically into the top of the device. You vape through the 2ml pod first; when it empties, the kit pulls from the 10ml container below to keep the pod topped up - there is no manual refilling involved. How to Unlock the Pixl 8000

Press the side button five times quickly to lock or unlock the device. A lock icon appears on the screen when it is locked. The same five-click sequence unlocks it again. If your device is not firing and the screen is showing a lock icon, this is the fix. If the screen shows E2 rather than a lock icon, the issue is the pod - remove it and reseat it as above.
