Description

Thelema Elite Art 40

The Lost Vape Thelema Elite Art 40 is a compact refillable pod kit built around a 1400mAh built-in battery and Lost Vape's Quest 2.0 chipset, with a maximum output of 40W. It covers MTL and RDL vaping in a single device, switching between styles by changing the included E Plus pod and adjusting the side airflow slider. The upper half of the device is fully transparent, so you can see your e-liquid level and the pod inside without removing anything.

The 0.42-inch OLED screen displays wattage, resistance, battery level, and puff count. Firing is either button-activated or auto-draw, and the airflow slider and Type-C charging port sit on the same side of the device. The kit includes both a 0.3Ω pod for RDL vaping and a 0.6Ω pod for MTL, plus a lanyard. Most vapers will find a full charge takes around 36 minutes. The Art 40 uses the same E Plus pod platform as the standard Thelema Elite 40 and is also compatible with the E-Plus RBA cartridge and URSA cartridges, both sold separately.

40W Output and Quest 2.0 Chipset

The Thelema Elite Art 40 runs from 5W to 40W via the Quest 2.0 chipset. When a pod is inserted, the device reads the coil resistance and suggests a starting wattage automatically. You can then adjust from there using the fire button: short presses cycle through the wattage in the menu. The Quest 2.0 chip also handles safety protections including low battery, short-circuit, 10-second overtime, overheating, and overcharge protection. Wattage in use is shown on the OLED screen at all times the device is active, and the screen switches off after around 15 seconds of inactivity.

1400mAh Battery and Charging

The 1400mAh built-in battery charges via the Type-C port on the side of the device at 5V/1.4A, reaching a full charge in around 36 minutes. The Neo-Tech indicator light on the device pulses purple during charging and shows a steady purple when the charge is complete. The battery is adequate for most vapers to get a full day of moderate use from a single charge on the 0.6Ω pod. At 40W on the 0.3Ω pod, the battery will drain faster. Pass-through vaping is supported, so you can vape while the device is plugged in. The OLED screen shows a battery bar so you can check remaining charge at a glance.

Airflow and Vaping Styles

The airflow slider sits on one side of the device and moves continuously from a tight MTL setting to a fully open RDL draw, with no fixed stops. Both pods work across this airflow range, but the 0.6Ω pod is best suited to a tighter MTL or restricted draw, and the 0.3Ω pod performs at its best with the airflow fully or mostly open. Auto-draw activation works with both pods. The button can be disabled for auto-draw-only operation with four quick clicks, which is useful if you prefer not to use the button, though the RBA cartridge (sold separately) is button-fire only and does not support auto-draw.

E Plus Pods

Two E Plus pods are included in the kit. Both have a 2ml capacity (UK TPD), a transparent body, side-fill with a silicone plug, and a magnetic connection to the device.

  • The 0.3Ω pod is for RDL vaping at up to 40W and works best with 70%+ VG shortfill e-liquids.
  • The 0.6Ω pod is for MTL vaping at up to 22W and works best with nic salts or 50/50 e-liquids.

Replacement E Plus pods are available separately on this site in packs of three, in 0.3Ω, 0.45Ω, and 0.6Ω variants. The 0.45Ω dual mesh variant is not included in the kit but is compatible with this device.

Transparent Body and Visible Window

The upper section of the Art 40 is made from clear plastic, making the pod and its e-liquid level visible from the outside. This is one of the key design differences between the Art 40 and the standard Thelema Elite 40, which has an opaque body. The transparent section runs around most of the upper half, giving you a clear view of how much e-liquid remains in the pod from almost any angle. The lower section is zinc alloy and houses the battery, screen, fire button, airflow slider, and charging port.

RBA and URSA Cartridge Compatibility

The Thelema Elite Art 40 is compatible with the E-Plus RBA cartridge, which is an optional rebuildable pod attachment sold separately. The RBA deck accepts custom coil builds and comes with four interchangeable airflow pins in different sizes. It is button-fire only and does not support auto-draw. The device is also compatible with Lost Vape URSA cartridges, which are a separate pod format with their own coil range, giving vapers additional coil options beyond the standard E Plus range. Both accessories are sold separately and are not included in the kit.

Thelema Elite Art 40 vs Thelema Elite 40

The Art 40 and the standard Thelema Elite 40 share the same battery, wattage output, chipset, and E Plus pod compatibility. The differences are in the form factor and body design:

  • The Art 40 is more compact at 89.3mm tall and 72g; the Elite 40 is taller at around 105mm and heavier at 81g.
  • The Art 40 has a fully transparent upper body showing the pod and e-liquid level; the Elite 40 has an opaque body.
  • The Art 40 has a 0.42-inch OLED screen; the Elite 40 has a larger 0.69-inch OLED screen.
  • The Art 40 has a cyberpunk-inspired design with six colour options built around transparent panels; the Elite 40 has a more traditional look with PU leather grip panels.
  • Performance and pod compatibility are identical between the two.

Thelema Elite Art 40 Colours

  • Mecha Black
  • Cool Tech
  • Carbon Fiber
  • Mecha Blue
  • Holo Purple
  • NEO Tech

All six colour options share the same transparent upper body design. The colour is determined by the lower zinc alloy section and the decorative panel detailing on each variant. NEO Tech and Cool Tech are the lighter, more graphic-heavy options. Carbon Fiber has a textured dark finish. Mecha Black and Mecha Blue are darker tones. Holo Purple has a holographic-style finish and is the most colourful of the six.
