GeekVape Aegis Pod Replacement Coils

The GeekVape G Series coils are the replacement coils for the Aegis Pod, Aegis Pod 2 (AP2), Wenax Stylus, Wenax C1, G18 Starter Pen Kit, and several other GeekVape pod systems. They use a KA-1 Kanthal mesh heating element and are designed for MTL and restricted DTL vaping with nic salts or high-PG e-liquid. Coils are press-fit with no threading required and are sold in packs of five. Seven resistance options are available, ranging from 0.6Ω for a more open draw down to 1.8Ω for an extra tight cigarette-style MTL. These coils are also known as G.Coil Pod Formula and Aegis Pod G Coils.

Pack of 5 Coils

Each pack contains five G Series coils. Having spares on hand means you can change the coil as soon as flavour starts to fade without waiting for a new order to arrive. At typical usage levels a coil lasts several days to a week, so a pack of five covers most vapers for several weeks of use.

KA-1 Kanthal Mesh Construction

G Series coils use a KA-1 Kanthal mesh heating element wrapped around organic cotton. The mesh format spreads heat evenly across a larger surface area than a standard wire coil, which improves flavour consistency and reduces the chance of hot spots that can cause dry hits. Kanthal is a well-established coil material known for stable resistance across a wide temperature range and a long usable lifespan.

Seven Resistance Options from 0.6Ω to 1.8Ω

The full G Series range covers everything from a restricted open-lung draw to an extra tight cigarette-style inhale. All seven options use the same press-fit fitting and are interchangeable in any compatible device.

• 0.6Ω runs at 13-18W for a restricted DTL draw. Best with high-VG or 50/50 freebase e-liquid and the airflow fully open.
• 0.8Ω runs at 12-15W for a light MTL or very restricted DTL draw. Suits 50/50 freebase or nic salts up to 20mg.
• 1.0Ω runs at 10-12W for a standard MTL draw. Suits nic salts up to 30mg or 50/50 freebase e-liquid.
• 1.2Ω runs at 9.5-11.5W for a tighter MTL draw. Well suited to nic salts at 20mg and above.
• 1.2Ω S runs at 8-12W with a single airflow slot for a tighter MTL draw than the standard 1.2Ω.
• 1.2Ω M runs at 10-12W with a modified airflow slot configuration, sitting between the standard and S versions in draw tightness.
• 1.8Ω runs at 7-9W for the tightest, most cigarette-like MTL draw in the G Series range. Best with nic salts up to 50mg at lower-wattage devices.

MTL and Restricted DTL Vaping

The G Series range is designed primarily for mouth-to-lung vaping, which means drawing vapour into the mouth first before inhaling to the lungs. This style is closest to the feel of a cigarette and is the most common choice for people using nic salts or making the switch from smoking. The 0.6Ω and 0.8Ω options extend into restricted DTL territory, giving a slightly looser draw with more vapour for those who prefer a fuller inhale without going fully open-lung.

Press-Fit Installation

G Series coils push straight into the base of the pod with no threading or screwing required. To install, remove the pod from the device, push the old coil out from the bottom, and press the new coil in until it seats firmly. Before vaping, prime the new coil by adding a few drops of e-liquid to the exposed cotton at the base and leaving it to soak for three to five minutes. This prevents dry hits on the first draw and helps the coil reach its full flavour performance sooner.

Compatible with Nic Salts and High-PG / 50/50 E-Liquids

G Series coils are designed for use with nic salts and high-PG or 50/50 freebase e-liquids. The tighter draw and lower wattage of most G Series options suits higher-nicotine e-liquids well. High-VG freebase e-liquid at 70VG or above is better suited to the 0.6Ω option at the lower end of the range, where the slightly higher wattage and more open draw can handle thicker e-liquid without the wick struggling to keep up.
