ELFX Pods

The Elf Bar ELFX replacement pods - also referred to as Elf X pods or ElfX pods - are the refillable pods for the ELFX and ELFX Pro pod kits. Each pack contains three 2ml pods with Elf Bar's QUAQ dual mesh coils built in, so there is no separate coil to buy or swap out; when the flavour starts to fade, you replace the whole pod.

Two resistance options are available: 0.6ohm for a more open RDL draw and 0.8ohm for a tighter MTL draw. The pods are compatible with 50/50 nic salts and freebase e-liquids and are particularly well-suited to Elf Bar's own ElfLiq nic salt range.

No Separate Coil Required

The QUAQ dual mesh coil is integrated directly into the pod body - it is not a removable or replaceable component. This means there is no separate ELFX coil to buy. When flavour starts dropping off, the whole pod is swapped out. This is by design: the pod-coil unit is a single sealed piece, which simplifies maintenance and eliminates dry-hit risk from improper coil installation. A pack of three pods gives you two or three pod changes depending on use before you need to reorder.

QUAQ Dual Mesh Coil

Both the 0.6ohm and 0.8ohm pods use Elf Bar's QUAQ dual mesh heating element. Two layers of mesh give a larger total surface area than a single mesh coil, which means the e-liquid heats more evenly across the wick. Elf Bar's in-house testing puts flavour consistency above 97% over the lifespan of the pod. The dual mesh also runs at lower temperatures than a single wire coil would need to produce the same vapour output, which protects the e-liquid from overheating and keeps the flavour cleaner for longer.

Resistance Options

The 0.6ohm pod is tuned for RDL vaping at 25W. The draw is more open and the vapour output higher than the 0.8ohm option, making it better suited to higher-VG liquids and vapers who prefer something closer to a sub ohm experience in a compact kit. The 0.8ohm pod runs at 17W and produces a tighter, more restrained draw suited to MTL use with nic salts and 50/50 e-liquids. Both pods are made from PCTG, which is transparent, so you can check the e-liquid level without removing the pod from the device.

Refilling

Each pod has a silicone-plugged fill port. Open the plug, fill to the 2ml mark, and reseal it firmly before vaping. After filling, wait around five minutes before your first draw to allow the wick to saturate fully - skipping this risks a dry hit that will burn the coil and shorten the pod's life. Do not overfill. The 4-layer anti-leak design includes a 360-degree sealing ring and an absorbent polymer layer to contain any minor overfill, but the silicone plug must be fully closed for this to work correctly.

Compatibility

These pods fit the Elf Bar ELFX kit and the ELFX Pro kit, connecting magnetically. They are not compatible with the ELFX Mega kit - that device uses its own ELFX Mega pods, which have a different form factor and the added QUAQ DURA technology. If you are unsure which device you have, check the name printed on the device body. Both ELFX and ELFX Pro take these standard pods.
