Eleaf iStick Power 2
The iStick Power 2 is a standalone 80W box mod from Eleaf, built around a 5000mAh integrated battery. It uses Eleaf's Avatar chipset with three output modes - Power, Smart, and Voltage - and displays wattage, resistance, puff count, and battery level on a 0.96-inch colour screen.
The chassis is zinc alloy with a faux leather panel and stitching on the grip. USB-C charges at 2A via a port on the side of the mod, so it sits upright on the desk while charging, and pass-through vaping is supported. This is the mod only - no tank is included.

5000mAh Battery
The 5000mAh integrated LiPo battery is the main reason people buy this mod. At typical MTL wattages - around 13-20W - reviewers consistently report two to three days of use before needing to recharge. At higher sub-ohm wattages in the 40-60W range, expect a full day or comfortably more. The battery level is shown as a bar on the display during use, and as a percentage while charging. Power drops off when the battery falls below around 15%, so it is worth charging before it reaches that point.
80W Output
The 1-80W range covers everything from tight MTL setups at low single-digit wattages through to sub-ohm tanks that run at 60-80W. Wattage adjusts in 0.5W steps via the two buttons below the fire button. The 510 connection accommodates tanks up to 25mm in diameter without overhang, and the spring-loaded gold-plated pin handles varying tank base heights reliably. The 0.1ohm minimum resistance means the iStick Power 2 can also drive RTAs and RDAs - it is not limited to commercial tanks.
Avatar Chipset and Output Modes
The Avatar chip runs three modes. Power mode is straightforward manual wattage control. Smart mode reads the coil resistance and sets a recommended wattage range, capping output at the coil's rated maximum - useful for preventing accidental overkill on a fresh coil. Voltage mode lets you set a fixed output voltage from 1-9V if you prefer to work that way rather than by wattage. There is no temperature control on this device - if TC is important to you, the original iStick Power or a different mod is a better fit.
Screen
The 0.96-inch colour TFT display shows wattage or voltage, coil resistance in ohms, a battery level bar, the active mode, a puff counter, and the duration of the last puff in seconds. The puff counter and puff duration stay on screen until the next draw. Screen theme colours can be changed in the settings. The display is side-mounted and reads naturally when the mod is held in the hand.
USB-C Charging
The USB-C port sits on the side of the mod rather than the base, which means you can stand the device upright while it charges without the cable lifting it off the desk. Charging at 5V/2A, a full charge from around 15% takes under 90 minutes in most tests. Pass-through charging means you can vape while the mod is plugged in, though it is not recommended as a regular habit for battery longevity. A wall plug is not included - use any USB-C adapter rated at least 5V/2A.
Build Quality
The frame is zinc alloy and the grip panel uses a faux leather wrap with visible stitching. In practice the leather panel gives the mod a more secure feel in the hand than bare metal or rubber grips, and holds up well to daily use. The fire button is round and well-positioned for index finger use. The two wattage adjustment buttons sit below the fire button on the front face. At 191g, this is not a light device - add a tank and a full load of e-liquid and it has noticeable heft. Battery ventilation holes sit in the base.
Tank Compatibility
The 510 connection is standard across virtually all sub-ohm tanks, MTL tanks, RTAs, and RDAs, so the iStick Power 2 is not locked to any particular product ecosystem. Eleaf's own GTL Pod Tank pairs directly with it and uses Smart mode effectively. Any tank up to 25mm in diameter will sit flush on the top plate. The 0.1ohm minimum resistance means there are no practical restrictions on rebuildables either. If you are unsure whether your existing tank will work, a 510 connection is the one near-universal standard in vaping hardware.
