Aspire Pixo Pods

These are the replacement pods for the Aspire Pixo, Pixo Aura and Pixo Neo kits. You get two pods per pack, each with a built-in mesh coil, a 2ml e-liquid capacity and a side-fill port sealed with a silicone stopper. There are three resistance options to choose from: 0.4Ω, 0.6Ω and 1.0Ω. Each one is designed for a different vaping style, so it is worth picking the right one for how you like to vape rather than just grabbing the same option you started with.

The pods connect magnetically to the device and the built-in coil means there is nothing to swap out mid-pod life. When the coil is done, you replace the whole pod. They are sometimes referred to as Aspire Pixo mesh coils, Pixo coils or Pixo cartridges, but they are all the same product.

Pod Variants

There are three resistance options. Here is how they differ and which one suits which style of vaping.

• 0.4Ω mesh pod, recommended wattage 23 to 30W. This is the most open draw in the Pixo range and the one to go for if you want a restricted DTL or airy RDTL vape. You get noticeably more vapour at higher wattages, and the device's Smart Mode will push the output up automatically when it detects this pod. A higher-VG e-liquid works best here – a 70/30 VG/PG blend or above – and nicotine strength of 6mg or lower is the right call at these wattage levels. This pod ships in the box with every Aspire Pixo kit, so if you want more of the same it is this one you need.
• 0.6Ω mesh pod, recommended wattage 16 to 23W. The middle-ground option. You still get a decent amount of vapour and a noticeable RDTL draw, but it runs cooler and is a little less demanding on your e-liquid than the 0.4Ω. A 50/50 freebase or nicotine salt e-liquid is ideal here, and it gives you a good balance of flavour and throat hit. This is the most searched-for variant if your GSC data is anything to go by, so if you are only stocking one option, this and the 0.4Ω are the two to prioritise. If you have been searching specifically for the "aspire pixo 0.6 mesh coil" or "aspire pixo 0.6 ohm mesh coil" – this is exactly what you are after.
• 1.0Ω mesh pod, recommended wattage 10 to 15W. The tightest draw in the range and the one that suits MTL vaping. At these wattage levels the vapour is cooler and more discreet, and the throat hit from a nicotine salt or 50/50 freebase is clean and satisfying. This pod also ships in the Pixo kit box alongside the 0.4Ω, so if you want to restock the MTL pod specifically, this is the one. Nicotine salts up to 20mg work well here.

Device Compatibility

These pods are compatible with all three kits in the current Aspire Pixo range. The same pod fits all of them, so the only choice you need to make is which resistance suits how you vape.

Filling and Priming Your Pixo Pod

To fill the pod, pull back the orange or black silicone stopper on the side to expose the fill port, add your e-liquid and replace the stopper before putting the pod back on the device. With a brand new pod, give the e-liquid two to three minutes to soak into the mesh before your first draw. Starting at the lower end of the recommended wattage range and stepping up gradually helps the coil bed in properly and will get you more life out of the pod overall.

E-Liquid Guide

The right e-liquid depends on which pod you are using. As a rule, the higher the resistance the more PG-friendly the pod is, and the lower the resistance the better it handles high-VG e-liquids.

For the 0.4Ω pod, go with a 60 to 70% VG e-liquid or higher. Shortfills work well here, and you should keep your nicotine strength at 6mg or below given the output level. For the 0.6Ω pod, a 50/50 freebase or a nicotine salt is the ideal match. You can run a 50/50 or 60/40 blend comfortably without any wicking issues, and nicotine salts up to 10mg or 20mg both work depending on your preference. For the 1.0Ω pod, a high-PG or 50/50 e-liquid is best. This is the pod that suits nicotine salts at higher strengths, and it is where the Pixo shines as a kit for switchers coming from cigarettes.
