The Aspire Gotek X3, also known as the Gotek X III or Gotek X3, is a compact refillable pod kit designed for vapers who want reliable all-day performance in something small enough to disappear into a jacket pocket. Battery and Charging

The Gotek X3 carries a 1200mAh built-in battery, roughly double the capacity of the original Gotek X, which gives most vapers a full day of use on a single charge. Recharging is done via the USB-C port on the base of the device, with a 1A charging rate that keeps downtime short. The LCD display on the side panel shows the remaining battery level alongside the current power mode, so there are no guesses about when to top up.

Power Modes

The Gotek X3 offers three power settings, selected by pressing the side button while the device is on. ECO mode runs at the lowest output, extending battery life and producing a cooler, lighter vape. NOR (Normal) mode provides a balanced output for everyday use, with good flavour and a satisfying draw. MAX mode delivers the highest wattage, boosting vapour production and intensifying flavour for those who want a fuller hit. Pod System

The Gotek X3 takes the Gotek series refillable pods, each of which has a built-in mesh coil. Because the coil is integrated into the pod, there are no separate replacement coils to source. When the coil performance begins to drop, you simply swap in a new pod. The kit ships with one pod pre-installed, and additional pods are available separately in two variants:

• 0.6Ω Gotek Pod - suits a slightly airier RDTL draw. Works well with 50/50 or up to 70% VG e-liquids and nicotine salts. Typically included with the kit.
• 0.8Ω Gotek Pod - suited to a tighter MTL draw, closer to the feel of a cigarette. Pairs best with 50/50 PG/VG e-liquids and nicotine salts.

Airflow

A slide adjuster on the base of the device controls airflow. Moving it toward the closed end tightens the draw into a narrow MTL pull. Opening it further creates a looser RDTL inhale with more vapour. This lets you tailor the throat hit, flavour intensity and cloud production without changing any internal settings, making it straightforward to dial in the right feel for your preferred e-liquid.

Display

The LCD screen on the side panel of the Gotek X3 shows two things at a glance: how much battery is left, and which power mode is active. It is a small, discreet screen that does not dominate the design, but gives you the information you actually need without having to guess or count LED flashes. This is one of the practical upgrades over the original Gotek X, which had no screen at all.

Design and Build

The Gotek X3 keeps the matchbox-shaped body that has made the Gotek range popular, with a semi-transparent shell that lets you see some of the internal components. Measuring approximately 82 x 47 x 21mm and weighing around 85g, it is genuinely pocket-sized and light enough to carry all day without noticing it. The pod is held in place by magnets, which gives a secure fit without any clips or latches to wear out over time.

E-Liquid Guide

The 0.6Ω pod is best paired with a 50/50 or up to 70% VG e-liquid, including nicotine salts. The 0.8Ω pod performs well with 50/50 PG/VG juice, and nic salts work particularly well here if you want smooth, high-strength hits. Freebase e-liquids at 3mg or 6mg suit those who vape frequently or prefer a less intense hit. For those switching from cigarettes, nicotine salts at 10mg to 20mg are a common starting point and deliver nicotine more efficiently than freebase at equivalent strengths.
