The Aspire GoteK Nano is the most compact kit in the Gotek range, measuring just 80.5 x 41 x 20mm, and one of the smallest pod kits available from Aspire. Despite its size it packs a 1000mAh battery, which is 350mAh more than the original Gotek X and enough to last a full day of moderate vaping on a single charge.

The Nano is draw-activated with no firing button, shares its pod system with the rest of the Gotek range, and is available in eight colourways split between illustrated panel designs and translucent Ice finishes. It suits beginners and anyone coming from disposables who wants a compact, refillable device that works without needing to adjust settings.

Battery and Charging

The GoteK Nano runs a 1000mAh built-in battery, larger than most other pod kits of this size. For moderate vapers using the 0.6Ω pod at normal draw frequency, a full charge typically lasts a full day. The USB-C port is on the base of the device and charges at 1A. The battery level screen on the body shows the remaining charge as a percentage, which is more precise than the LED light systems used on simpler pod kits and means you are never caught short. Power the device on and off by pressing the button on the base five times.

Draw Activation and Ease of Use

The GoteK Nano is activated by inhaling from the mouthpiece, with no firing button to hold. This makes it extremely intuitive for anyone switching from cigarettes or disposable vapes, since the draw mechanic is identical. The response time is rapid, producing vapour within milliseconds of starting a draw. There are no wattage settings or modes to configure: the device outputs a constant 3.45V and adjusts automatically to the pod resistance. The only control besides the on/off button is the airflow slider on the base.

Adjustable Airflow

The airflow slider sits on the bottom of the device and moves smoothly between open and closed positions. At the open end the draw is looser, suited to the 0.6Ω pod for a restricted direct-to-lung style. Closing it progressively tightens the draw toward a mouth-to-lung feel, especially useful with the 0.8Ω pod. Finding the right position is a matter of personal preference and most vapers settle on a setting within the first few refills. The airflow does not need to be adjusted again once you find your sweet spot unless you swap to a different pod resistance.

Gotek Series Pod Compatibility

The GoteK Nano uses the same pod system as the rest of the Gotek range, which means Gotek pods from any other Gotek device will also fit. The 0.6Ω pod is included in the kit and is the best starting point for most vapers, especially those coming from disposables. The 0.8Ω pod (available separately) gives a tighter, cooler mouth-to-lung draw. The Gotek XL pod, also available separately, has a 4.5ml global capacity (2ml UK TPD), which means fewer refills throughout the day. All pods are side-fill via a silicone bung stopper and contain a built-in, non-replaceable mesh coil.

Pod Coil Options

• 0.6Ω mesh coil pod, included in kit, RDTL, suits 50/50 up to 70% VG e-liquids and nic salts
• 0.8Ω mesh coil pod, available separately, MTL, suits 50/50 or high-PG e-liquids and nic salts

Both pods use a built-in non-replaceable coil. When the coil is spent, the whole pod is replaced. Priming the pod by waiting two to three minutes after filling before vaping will help the coil last longer and prevent a burnt taste on early draws.

How It Compares to Other Gotek Kits

The GoteK Nano sits between the Gotek X and the Gotek Pro in terms of battery capacity. The Gotek X has a 650mAh battery and no screen; the Gotek X2 has 800mAh; the Gotek Nano has 1000mAh and adds a battery display; the Gotek Pro steps up to 1500mAh. All four kits use the same Gotek pod range and operate the same way. The Nano's key advantage over the X is meaningfully longer battery life in a similarly compact body. If all-day battery life without recharging is the priority and you want the smallest possible device, the Nano is the right choice in the range. The Pro is the better option if you prefer not to charge every day.

Design and Colours

The GoteK Nano is available in eight colourways split into two groups. Four have illustrated double-sided panels with a solid-colour body, and four have translucent Ice panels with a clear body that reveals the internal components. The Graffiti/Black colourway features bold street art-style graphics and is one of the most distinctive options in the range. The Ink Art/Pink has painterly illustrated panels on a pink body. Letters/Green and Aurora/White round out the illustrated group. The Ice variants (Ice Green, Ice Gold/Black, Ice Rose/Pink, Ice Black) have a more minimal, technical look that suits those who prefer a cleaner aesthetic.
