Aspire Flexus Pro Pods and Coils

The Aspire Flexus Pro uses two different types of replacement pod, and both are available here. The first is the Flexus Pro pod cartridge, which has a mesh coil built in and is replaced as a whole unit when the coil wears out.

The second is the Flexus Pro empty pod, which accepts Aspire AF press-fit mesh coils so the pod itself can be reused and only the coil is swapped. Both types hold 2ml of e-liquid, fill from a side port with a silicone stopper, and attach to the Flexus Pro device via a magnetic connection. The pod cartridges come in a pack of two; the empty pod is sold individually.

Which Pod Type Should I Choose?

The built-in coil cartridge is the simpler option. You fill it, vape it through several refills until the flavour drops off or a burnt note appears, then remove it and drop in a fresh pod. There are no coils to source separately, no installation steps, and less to think about. It suits vapers who want a clean, low-maintenance experience. The empty pod with replaceable AF coils is more economical over time, since you only replace the coil and keep the pod. It also gives you access to the 0.4Ω coil option, which the built-in cartridge does not offer. If you are comfortable changing coils and want more flexibility or lower ongoing cost, the empty pod is the better choice.

Built-in Coil Pod Cartridges: 0.6Ω and 1.0Ω

The pod cartridges come with the coil already fitted and cannot be modified. Both use mesh coil construction and are sold in a pack of two.

Empty Pod with Replaceable AF Coils

The empty Flexus Pro pod is the same physical shell as the cartridge but ships without a coil installed. Press fit an Aspire AF mesh coil into the base before use, then swap the coil when needed while reusing the same pod body. Sold as a single unit.

• 0.6Ω AF Mesh coil, 15-18W, RDTL, suits 50/50 up to 70% VG
• 1.0Ω AF Mesh coil, 12-15W, MTL, suits 50/50 or high-PG e-liquids and nic salts

AF coils are available separately on our Aspire AF coils page. Most vapers keep two or three empty pods in rotation so one is always primed and ready.

Filling and Priming

Both pod types fill the same way. Remove the pod from the device, locate the silicone stopper on the side, pull it out, fill slowly until the e-liquid reaches the top of the fill port, then replace the stopper firmly. Before vaping a new pod or a freshly fitted coil, leave it to sit for two to three minutes to allow the cotton to fully saturate. Vaping a dry or under-primed coil is the most common cause of early coil failure and a burnt taste that can persist even after the cotton has wicked properly. For the empty pod, adding a few drops of e-liquid directly onto the exposed cotton before pressing the coil into the pod gives an extra margin.

Compatibility Note

Both Flexus Pro pod types are designed specifically for the Aspire Flexus Pro device. They are not compatible with the Aspire Flexus Q, Flexus Stik, or Flexus AIO, even though those kits also use AF coils and share a similar pod form factor. The pod connection geometry and airflow path differ between these devices. If you own a Flexus AIO, Flexus Q, or Flexus Stik, you need the pod specific to your device.
