Aspire Flexus Pro Pod Kit

The Aspire Flexus Pro is a compact pod kit with a 1200mAh built-in battery, a 5-30W adjustable output, and a 0.54" OLED screen. It is an upgrade on the original Aspire Flexus, adding a larger battery, a refined side airflow slider, and support for two different pod types.

The Flexus Pro works with Aspire AF mesh coils fitted into the refillable empty pod, or with pre-built pods that have a coil already inside. Both types share the same 2ml side-fill design and magnetic connection to the device. Six colour options are available: Black, Blue Fade, Fuchsia, Green, Pearl White, and Pink.

1200mAh Battery and Charging

The Flexus Pro has a 1200mAh built-in battery, which is notably larger than many pod kits in its size range and comfortably handles a full day of MTL vaping on a single charge. Charging is via USB-C at 5V/2A, which is fast enough to top the battery up from empty in around an hour. The charging port is on the base of the device. The OLED screen shows battery level as both a percentage and a bar indicator, so you can see at a glance how much charge is remaining.

Output and OLED Screen

The wattage range runs from 5W to 30W and can be adjusted using the power button on the side of the device. The 0.54" OLED screen displays current wattage, battery percentage, coil resistance, and puff duration all on the same screen at once. This level of information is more detailed than the simple LED indicators found on most pod kits at this price point and makes it straightforward to keep track of your settings. The ASP chipset handles automatic wattage suggestions based on the coil resistance detected, though you can override these manually.

Three Activation Modes

The Flexus Pro supports three ways to fire the device, and you switch between them by pressing the power button four times in quick succession. Mode A is auto-draw only, activated by inhaling. Mode B is button-activated only, requiring you to hold the button while drawing. Mode A and B enables both at the same time, so either method works. Auto-draw is the more natural starting point if you are coming from disposables or cigarettes; button activation gives more control over when the device fires and suits vapers who prefer to take longer, deliberate draws.

Adjustable Airflow

The airflow slider sits on the side of the device and moves smoothly between a fully open and a fully closed position. At the open end, the draw is loose enough for a restricted direct-to-lung style; at the closed end, it produces a very tight mouth-to-lung draw similar to a cigarette. Most vapers will settle somewhere between the two extremes depending on the coil resistance they are using. The 0.6Ω coil works well with the airflow partially open, and the 1.0Ω coil suits a tighter setting. The slider has a satisfying amount of resistance and stays in position once set.

Dual Pod System

The Flexus Pro is compatible with two types of pods. The empty Flexus Pro pod accepts any of the Aspire AF press-fit mesh coils and gives you the flexibility to choose your resistance and swap coils without replacing the pod itself. The built-in coil pods come with the coil already fitted and are replaced as a complete unit when the coil is spent, in the same way as disposable pods. Both pod types hold 2ml of e-liquid, fill from a side port, and attach to the device via a magnetic connection. The kit includes two empty pods with a 0.6Ω and 1.0Ω coil installed, so you have both styles covered from the start.

AF Coil Compatibility

The empty pod accepts all three Aspire AF mesh coil variants. The AF coil range is the same series used across the Aspire Flexus Q, Flexus Stik, Flexus Blok, AF Tank, and Rover Plus kit, so these coils are easy to source.

Build Quality and Design

The Flexus Pro body is zinc-alloy with a non-slip textured finish that makes it comfortable to hold and less prone to slipping out of a pocket. At 26 x 15.5 x 114.5mm it is slim enough to sit flat in a hand or a shirt pocket. The pod is PCTG, which is a food-grade plastic that is translucent enough to monitor your e-liquid level without removing the pod. The mouthpiece is built into the pod and uses a duck-bill shape, which Aspire has used across several of its pod kits for a comfortable lip contact.
