Asmodus Minikin Pod System

The Asmodus Minikin Pod Kit is a compact, fully deconstructable pod mod that runs up to 50W from a built-in 1800mAh battery. The control panel, battery, and chassis are all individually replaceable, so the device can be repaired, customised, or rebuilt rather than disposed of when a part wears out. The 2ml PCTG pod connects magnetically, fills via a hidden sliding port on the side, and carries its own stepless adjustable airflow switch for precise draw tuning.

Two mesh coils are included in the box - a 0.3ohm for sub-ohm vaping and a 0.8ohm for MTL and RDL - along with an MTL drip tip and an RDL drip tip. The OLED screen tracks wattage, resistance, battery level, puff count, last puff duration, and voltage.

Battery and Charging

The 1800mAh lithium-ion battery is built into the device but is designed to be replaced rather than written off. If the battery degrades over time you can swap in a fresh one without needing a new kit - Asmodus sells the battery as a separate component. Charging is via USB-C, located on the device body below the wattage buttons. The cable is included in the box. Output runs from 1W up to 50W and is adjusted in small increments using the two buttons below the OLED screen.

Display and Controls

The OLED screen sits between the fire button above and the wattage adjustment buttons below, making single-handed operation straightforward. It shows wattage, coil resistance, battery level, total puff count, the duration of your last puff, and voltage - everything you need to monitor your settings and usage in one place. The fire button also handles the safety lock; tap it the required number of times to lock or unlock the device and prevent accidental firing.

Pod and Fill System

The 2ml pod clips into the top of the device via a magnetic connection. The fill port is set into the side of the pod behind a sliding cover - push the cover up to expose the port, fill, then slide it back down to seal. There is no removable plug to lose. The pod also carries the airflow adjustment switch, so draw tightness is controlled at the pod level rather than through a ring or dial on the mod body. When fitting a new coil, fill the pod and wait around five minutes before vaping to let the cotton fully saturate.

Coils and Vaping Styles

Two coils come in the box. The 0.3ohm mesh coil is aimed at sub-ohm and restricted-direct-lung vaping and works best with a high-VG e-liquid or shortfill. The 0.8ohm mesh coil is suited to MTL or tighter RDL and performs well with nic salts and 50/50 liquids. Both coils push into the base of the pod - no threading - and replacement coils are available as the Asmodus Minikin Pod Replacement Coils, sold in packs of three. The pod itself is available as a separate replacement if needed.

Deconstructable Design

The Minikin Pod System is designed around the idea that every part should be replaceable. The control panel with its PCB, the battery, and the chassis can each be detached and swapped out independently. This is unusual for a pod kit and means the device has a much longer practical lifespan than a device with a sealed build - replace a worn battery, change the chassis colour, or upgrade to a different edition without touching the rest of the kit. The chassis comes in plastic and aluminium alloy variants depending on the finish you choose.
