VOOPOO Argus E40 Pod Cartridges

These are the official replacement pod cartridges for the VOOPOO Argus E40 pod kit. Each cartridge holds 2ml of e-liquid in line with UK TPD regulations and comes with a built-in PnP X coil that is not separately replaceable. Three resistance options are available, covering RDL and DTL vaping styles at different wattage ranges. The pods connect to the Argus E40 device via strong magnets and sit securely with no wobble once attached. They are sold in packs of 2 and are made from PCTG and PC, giving them a lightly tinted appearance that allows you to monitor your e-liquid level without removing the cartridge from the device.

These pod cartridges are only compatible with the VOOPOO Argus E40. They will not fit the Argus P1, P2, G, G2, G2 Mini, Z2 or Argus Air.

Built-In PnP X Mesh Coil

Each Argus E40 cartridge comes with a built-in PnP X coil that uses a vertical honeycomb mesh heating element combined with thermo-stable cotton wicking. This design heats the e-liquid evenly across the full surface of the mesh, which produces consistent flavour and reduces the risk of dry hits or hotspots. The coil is integrated into the cartridge body and cannot be removed or replaced independently. When the coil is spent, the whole cartridge is replaced. VOOPOO rate these coils to last up to 100ml of e-liquid before performance noticeably drops.

2ml E-Liquid Capacity

Each cartridge holds 2ml of e-liquid, which is the standard capacity for refillable pods sold in the UK under TPD regulations. The lightly tinted body means you can check your e-liquid level at a glance without needing to remove the pod from the device. When the tank runs low, remove the cartridge from the Argus E40 and refill via the side-filling port before reattaching.

Side-Filling Design

Refilling is handled through a rubber hatch on the side of the cartridge, near the base. To fill, remove the pod from the device, pull back the rubber hatch to reveal the fill port, add your e-liquid, and close the hatch firmly before reinserting the pod. The fill port is large enough to accept most e-liquid bottle nozzles without difficulty. Before vaping after a fresh fill, allow the pod to rest for a minute or two so the coil wicks fully, which helps protect the coil and ensures the best flavour from the first draw.

Four-Layer Leak-Resistant Construction

The internal structure of the Argus E40 cartridge uses a four-layer leak-resistant design that seals the coil chamber and prevents e-liquid from migrating out of the pod during use or when stored. This means the pods are reliable to carry in a pocket or bag throughout the day. The combination of sealed construction and the Argus E40's side-filling port further reduces the opportunity for leaks compared to bottom-fill designs.

Magnetic Connection

The pod attaches to the Argus E40 device using four magnets that provide a strong, rattle-free connection. The magnets are powerful enough that the pod is drawn firmly into position as it approaches the connection point, and there is no play or wobble once seated. To remove the cartridge for refilling, pull it directly away from the device with a firm but straight tug.

100ml Coil Lifespan

VOOPOO state that the PnP X coils inside these cartridges are designed to last up to 100ml of e-liquid before the flavour begins to degrade or the risk of leaking increases. In practice, lifespan will vary depending on the wattage you vape at and the VG ratio of your e-liquid, with higher wattages and thicker liquids placing more demand on the coil. Keeping the pod topped up rather than running it dry will also help extend coil life and maintain flavour quality throughout the pod's use.
