1000mAh Built-In Battery with 30-Minute Fast Charge

The XROS 4 carries a 1000mAh battery that brings itself back to full charge in approximately 30 minutes using the included USB-C cable at 5V/2A. For most moderate vapers, that is enough capacity to get through a full day on a single charge. The display screen shows the remaining battery level so you are not caught off guard. If you need a larger battery in the same XROS family, the XROS 4 Nano carries 1350mAh.

Up to 16W Output: ECO, Normal and Power Modes

The vaporesso xros 4 modes system uses three preset levels that automatically set the output to match the pod fitted. ECO mode runs at a lower wattage to extend battery life and reduce e-liquid consumption; Normal mode applies a sensible middle setting matched to the pod resistance; Power mode pushes output toward the upper limit for a warmer, more flavourful draw. Switching between modes is done via three button clicks, with the screen confirming the current selection. When using the 0.4Ω COREX pod, the device moves into a precision variable wattage mode with 0.5W incremental adjustment instead of the three preset levels.

COREX 2.0 and COREX 3.0 Pod Compatibility

The XROS 4 ships with two COREX 2.0 pods and is compatible with all COREX 2.0 and COREX 3.0 XROS replacement pods. COREX pods use a Morph-Mesh heating structure combined with high-density COREX cotton, which distributes heat more evenly across the coil surface and helps the wick stay saturated during use. This improves flavour consistency and extends pod lifespan compared to earlier XROS pod designs. Pods are self-contained units with the coil built in, so replacement is simply a matter of swapping the whole pod when flavour deteriorates.

Pod Resistance Options and Which to Choose

• 1.2Ω - Tightest MTL draw, closest to a cigarette. Best with 50/50 nic salts at 10mg or 20mg.
• 1.0Ω - Tight MTL with a touch more vapour. Well suited to 50/50 nic salts at 10mg or 20mg.
• 0.8Ω - Middle-ground MTL option with a slightly warmer draw. Works well with 50/50 nic salts at 10mg.
• 0.6Ω - RDTL draw, airier and warmer than MTL. Suits 50/50 nic salts at 5mg or 10mg.
• 0.4Ω - Loosest RDTL option with precision wattage control. Better suited to 50/50 or 70VG e-liquids at lower nicotine strengths.

Adjustable Side Airflow Slider (MTL to RDTL)

A slider on the side of the XROS 4 adjusts how much air flows through the device on each draw. Closing it down tightens the inhale toward a more cigarette-like MTL feel; opening it progressively loosens the draw into RDTL territory. The airflow control works alongside your pod choice: a 1.0Ω or 1.2Ω pod with the airflow restricted gives the tightest possible experience, while a 0.4Ω or 0.6Ω pod with the slider fully open delivers a noticeably freer RDTL inhale. You can also use the slider to find a middle point that suits your preference without changing pods.

Button and Draw Activation

The XROS 4 fires automatically on each draw without needing to press the button, which keeps use simple for anyone coming from a disposable vape. The button also activates the device if preferred and controls all settings through a click sequence. Four clicks powers the device on or off; two clicks opens the settings menu; three clicks changes the power mode or wattage; and four clicks locks or unlocks the device to prevent accidental firing. The lock function is useful for carrying the xros 4 kit in a pocket or bag.

Top-Fill 2ml Pods

XROS pods are refilled from the top by removing the mouthpiece to reveal the fill port, so the pod stays seated in the device while you top up. The 2ml capacity meets UK TPD requirements and holds enough e-liquid for a comfortable session between refills. Before using a new pod for the first time, fill it and leave it upright for five to ten minutes to allow the COREX cotton to fully saturate; this prevents a dry or burnt first hit and helps the pod last longer. The 0.8Ω pod is pre-installed in the device, with the 0.6Ω pod included as a spare in the box.
