The Vaporesso XROS 5 Nano is a compact pod kit built around a 1600mAh battery and a 1.09-inch touch screen with 29 preinstalled animation themes. It fires by draw or by button, covers both MTL and RDTL vaping through three power modes and an adjustable airflow slider, and fully recharges via USB-C in approximately 50 minutes. Xros COREX 3.0 pods are included in two resistances and the device accepts the full XROS pod range from 0.4Ω to 1.2Ω, so the pod choice can be adjusted as your vaping style develops. 

At 95g with a screen and button alongside draw activation, the XROS 5 Nano offers more control than the draw-only XROS 5 Mini, while remaining genuinely portable.

1.09-Inch Touch Screen with 29 Animation Themes

The XROS 5 Nano uses a 1.09-inch touch screen in a reinforced frame for added impact resistance. The screen is how you navigate between power modes and access settings, replacing the multi-click button sequences found on older XROS devices. It ships with 29 animation themes preinstalled, so the display can be personalised to match your preference or colour option. The screen also shows your current power mode, battery level and other vaping data at a glance, which makes it straightforward to confirm your settings before you draw.

1600mAh Built-In Battery with USB-C Fast Charge

The 1600mAh battery is one of the larger capacities available in a device of this size and will carry most vapers through a full day on a single charge. Recharging via USB-C at 2A takes approximately 50 minutes, which is quick enough that a top-up charge during the day adds meaningful battery life with minimal wait. The battery level is shown on the touch screen at all times. Using the XROS 5 Nano in ECO mode extends run time between charges by reducing the output to the pod.

Three Power Modes: ECO, Normal and Power

The XROS 5 Nano offers three power modes selectable from the touch screen. ECO mode runs the pod at a reduced output, which produces a cooler, lighter draw and preserves battery life. Normal mode applies the standard recommended wattage for whichever pod is fitted, giving a balanced draw suited to everyday use. Power mode boosts the output for a warmer, more vapour-dense inhale and is well suited to the 0.4Ω and 0.6Ω pods. For most users, Normal mode is the best starting point; Power mode is worth exploring once you are familiar with how the device behaves with your chosen pod.

Button and Draw Activation

The XROS 5 Nano can be fired by inhaling or by pressing the round button on the side of the device, giving you the choice of whichever method you prefer. Pressing the button five times in quick succession turns the device on or off, which prevents accidental firing in a pocket or bag. Draw activation fires as soon as you inhale with no button press needed, making it a natural transition from disposable vapes or cigarettes. Vapers who want draw-only simplicity without a button may prefer the XROS 5 Mini; those who want button control available alongside draw firing will find the XROS 5 Nano suits them well.

Adjustable Side Airflow Slider (MTL to RDTL)

The airflow slider on the side of the device lets you tighten or open the draw independently of your pod choice. Closing the slider produces a more restricted, MTL-style inhale; opening it progressively loosens the draw into RDTL territory. Combining the slider position with your pod resistance choice gives a wide range of feel: a 1.0Ω or 1.2Ω pod with the slider fully closed is the tightest draw the device produces, closely resembling a cigarette pull, while a 0.4Ω or 0.6Ω pod with the slider open delivers a noticeably airier inhale with more vapour. Most vapers settle on a position somewhere in between after a short trial.

COREX 3.0 Pods: Which Resistance to Choose

The XROS 5 Nano ships with two COREX 3.0 pods and accepts the full XROS pod range. COREX 3.0 pods use a Morph-Mesh coil with high-density COREX cotton, which distributes heat evenly and keeps the wick saturated to reduce the risk of dry hits. COREX 3.0 also includes improved SSS leak-resistant technology over the previous COREX 2.0 version. Each pod is a self-contained unit; when flavour begins to drop, replace the entire pod rather than a separate coil.

• 1.2Ω - Tightest MTL draw, closest to a cigarette feel. Best with 50/50 nic salts at 10mg or 20mg.
• 1.0Ω - Tight MTL with a touch more vapour. Well suited to 50/50 nic salts at 10mg or 20mg.
• 0.8Ω - Middle-ground MTL option with a slightly warmer draw. This pod is included in the box. Works well with 50/50 nic salts at 10mg.
• 0.6Ω - RDTL draw, airier and warmer. Suits 50/50 nic salts at 5mg or 10mg. This is the pre-installed pod.
• 0.4Ω - Loosest RDTL option with the most vapour. Better suited to 50/50 or 70VG e-liquids at lower nicotine strengths.

Top-Fill 2ml Pods with SSS Leak-Resistant Tech

XROS pods are filled from the top by removing the mouthpiece to reveal the red-ringed fill port, with the pod remaining in the device during filling. The process is quick and clean, with SSS leak-resistant technology built into the pod to reduce the likelihood of e-liquid seeping through the connection point. Before using a new pod for the first time, fill it and leave it to stand upright for five to ten minutes so the COREX cotton can fully absorb the e-liquid; this helps prevent a burnt or dry first hit and will extend the life of the pod. The 2ml capacity is compliant with UK TPD regulations.
