Aspire Nautilus X Coils

If you have a Nautilus X tank, a Nautilus XS tank, a PockeX kit or a Rover 2, these are the coils you need. The Aspire Nautilus X replacement coils come in packs of five and are available in three variants: 1.5Ω and 1.8Ω U-Tech coils for a tighter mouth-to-lung draw, and the 0.7Ω XS Mesh coil if you want a little more airflow and vapour. All three are built for mouth-to-lung (MTL) vaping, which makes them a great pick whether you are switching from smoking or simply prefer that closer, cigarette-like draw.

The standout feature on the 1.5Ω and 1.8Ω options is Aspire's U-Tech design: the vapour travels through a U-shaped chamber and passes the heating element twice before it reaches you, which noticeably deepens the flavour without you needing to push the wattage up. You may also see these listed as Nautilus X atomizers or Nautilus XS coils in various places – they are all the same product.

Aspire Nautilus X Coils Key Features

  • Pack of five replacement coils
  • Three variants: 1.5Ω U-Tech, 1.8Ω U-Tech and 0.7Ω XS Mesh
  • U-Tech airflow passes vapour through the coil twice for richer flavour
  • Kanthal heating elements with organic cotton wicking
  • All three variants suit mouth-to-lung vaping
  • Compatible with the Nautilus X tank, Nautilus XS tank, PockeX kit and Rover 2 kit
  • High-PG or 50/50 e-liquids recommended for the 1.5Ω and 1.8Ω; 50/50 recommended for the 0.7Ω mesh
  • Threaded fit, quick and easy to swap with no tools needed

Coil Variants

Not sure which resistance to go for? Here is a quick guide to each option.

  • 1.5Ω U-Tech coil, recommended wattage 14 to 20W. This is the most popular choice for Nautilus X and PockeX users and the one we would point most people towards. It gives you a satisfying MTL draw with good flavour and keeps vapour output discreet enough for all-day use. Pair it with a high-PG or 50/50 e-liquid, and nicotine salts work particularly well if you want smooth, higher-strength hits. If you have been searching for the right wattage for a 1.5Ω coil on this tank, 14 to 20W is your answer.
  • 1.8Ω U-Tech coil, recommended wattage 12 to 16W. Go for this one if you want the closest feel to smoking a cigarette. It runs at a lower wattage, produces the least vapour of the three, and delivers a tight, clean draw that lets the flavour of your e-liquid do the talking. A high-PG juice is the right match. It is ideal for stealthy vaping and for anyone who has recently switched from cigarettes and wants something familiar.
  • 0.7Ω XS Mesh coil, recommended wattage 18 to 22W. This is the Nautilus XS coil variant and the one to go for if you want a bit more airflow and vapour than the U-Tech options offer. The mesh heating surface warms up faster and gives more consistent output. It still sits firmly in MTL territory, so you are not getting big clouds, but the draw is noticeably airier than the 1.5Ω or 1.8Ω. A 50/50 PG/VG e-liquid works best here.

Device Compatibility

These coils fit all four of the following devices. If you are still not sure which resistance to choose, a good starting point is the 1.8Ω for tight MTL vapers or recent switchers from cigarettes, the 1.5Ω for everyday MTL use, and the 0.7Ω mesh if you want a bit more vapour while staying mouth-to-lung.

  • Aspire Nautilus X Tank
  • Aspire Nautilus XS Tank
  • Aspire PockeX Kit
  • Aspire Rover 2 Kit

One important thing to know before you order: these are not the same as the standard Nautilus BVC coils used in the Nautilus, Nautilus 2, Nautilus Mini, Nautilus 3 and Nautilus 2S. They also do not fit the Triton or Atlantis series, or the Nautilus Prime X, which uses a completely different coil platform. If you are not sure which coil your device takes, check your tank or kit page, or drop us a message and we will help you find the right one.

U-Tech Coil Technology

The U-Tech design is what makes the 1.5Ω and 1.8Ω coils worth talking about. Inside each one, the airflow is guided through a U-shaped chamber so the vapour crosses the heating element twice before it reaches the mouthpiece. In practice, this means you get noticeably richer flavour than you would expect at these wattage levels. The coils also have enlarged juice ports that can handle e-liquids up to 80% VG, though a high-PG juice will still give you the best flavour and the longest coil life at these resistances.

E-Liquid Guide

For the 1.5Ω and 1.8Ω coils, a high-PG or 50/50 PG/VG e-liquid is the right choice. The higher PG content flows readily through the cotton wick and gives you a sharper, cleaner flavour that suits this style of vaping nicely. Nicotine salts are a great match here, especially if you are using these coils as part of a switch from smoking and want a smooth delivery at 10mg to 20mg. For the 0.7Ω XS Mesh coil, a 50/50 blend works well, and because the draw is airier and the vapour output higher, lower nicotine strengths of 3mg to 10mg tend to feel more comfortable.

Whatever liquid you go with, make sure you prime the coil properly before your first use: add a few drops directly to the cotton, fill the tank, and give it a few minutes to soak in before you start vaping. It is a small step that makes a real difference to flavour and coil life.
