Vape mods are the next jump up in vaping terms from your standard starter kit. Vape mods or e-cig mods are a vaping device that gives you more power and a lot more control over your vape settings all wrapped up in a box-shaped device with sub-ohm capabilities.

Regulated Mods

Regulated vape mods are exactly what they say on the tin, they are just the mod part of the device not including parts such as the atomiser, batteries etc. A regulated mod usually carries all the usual safety functions you see in beginner vape kits such as maximum current, re-charge cut off and of course regulated resistance along with features found on vape mods such as variable wattage selection and temperature control. Regulated vape mods are usually powered either through an external battery or a built-in battery inside the mod itself. Mech Mods


Unregulated mods or Mech Mods are vape mods with no circuitry or electrical components separating the battery from the vape coil. Basically, the full power from the battery goes straight through the coil, hence, unregulated.
Mech mods provide the ability to make your own coils to your own requirements allowing you to customise the device and coils to suit your individual style of vaping. Mech mods are used with a type of atomiser called an RDA or Rebuildable Dripping Atomiser, the e-liquid is dripped onto the wicking cotton directly.

Squonk Mods

Squonk mods are a type of vape mod, similar to mech mods, however, instead of using an RDA to drip the e-liquid onto the wicking cotton, there is a reservoir built into the mod to hold the e-liquid. This makes using a squonk mod less of a fuss than using a mech mod, without losing the ability to customise your mod to your individual requirements.
