UB Mini Coils

The Lost Vape UB Mini replacement coils are the standard coil range for the Orion Mini Pod Kit and the broader Ursa pod range, sold in packs of five. All variants use mesh heating elements and press-fit installation. The range is designed for MTL and restricted RDL vaping and is suited to nic salts and 50/50 e-liquids.

The three most common variants are the S1 at 0.8Ω (12-17W), the S2 at 1.0Ω (9-13W), and the S3 at 0.6Ω (16-21W). These are lower-wattage coils intended for pod devices and are not the same as the UB Max or UB Lite coil ranges, which use a different format and fit different devices.

UB Mini S1 Coil, 0.8Ω, 12-17W

The S1 is a 0.8Ω mesh coil designed for 12-17W. It is the mid-resistance option in the main UB Mini range, sitting between the S3 and S2 in terms of vapour warmth and output. The S1 gives a slightly airy RDL-to-MTL draw and works well with nic salts and 50/50 e-liquids. Starting at the lower end of the wattage range when breaking in a new coil is recommended. The S1 was the original coil for the Orion Mini and remains one of the most widely used options in the range.

UB Mini S2 Coil, 1.0Ω, 9-13W

The S2 is a 1.0Ω mesh coil designed for 9-13W and is the closest to a cigarette-style MTL draw in the main UB Mini range. At these low wattages the vapour is cooler and more discreet, and the battery draw is minimal. The S2 is well suited to nic salts and to vapers who prefer a tight, restricted MTL draw. It is the most searched variant in the UB Mini range and a common choice for people switching from cigarettes or stepping down from a higher-nicotine device.

UB Mini S3 Coil, 0.6Ω, 16-21W

The S3 is a 0.6Ω mesh coil designed for 16-21W. It runs at a higher wattage than the S1 and S2 and gives a slightly more open, warmer draw. The S3 is suited to vapers who want a bit more vapour production from their Orion Mini or Ursa device without going fully open. It works well with 50/50 and nic salt e-liquids. The S3 is the newest addition to the main UB Mini range.

The UB Mini coils are not compatible with the UB Max, UB Lite, or UB Pro coil ranges. Each of those uses a different coil format and fits different devices. If you own a Centaurus tank, you need UB Max coils. If you own a UB Lite Pod Kit or Thelema Mini, you need UB Lite coils.

Choosing the Right UB Mini Coil

For the tightest, most cigarette-like MTL draw, the S2 at 1.0Ω is the best option. For a slightly more open draw with a touch more warmth and vapour, the S1 at 0.8Ω is a good middle ground. If you want the most vapour the UB Mini range can produce and prefer a loose MTL to restricted draw, the S3 at 0.6Ω is the most capable option. All three work with nic salts and 50/50 e-liquids. Higher-VG shortfills are not recommended for any UB Mini coil, as the thin wicking ports on these low-wattage coils are not suited to thick e-liquids.
