Vaporesso Armour Ultra Sub-Ohm Kit

The Vaporesso Armour Ultra is the most weatherproof sub-ohm kit Vaporesso has made, bundling the 5500mAh Armour Ultra mod, the iTank T sub-ohm tank, and two GTi Dual Mesh coils into one complete setup. IP68 waterproofing, IP69K jet-proof certification, and MIL-STD-810H shock resistance put its durability well beyond a standard sub-ohm mod.

The 100W AXON chipset offers five output modes, and the 5500mAh integrated battery returns two to three days of mixed DTL use on the 0.4ohm coil before needing a charge. At roughly 25 percent smaller than the previous Armour S, it still fits in a jacket pocket. Seven colour options are available. If you already own an iTank T or another sub-ohm tank, the Armour Ultra is also available as a mod-only device.

5500mAh Battery and Charging

The 5500mAh integrated battery is one of the largest Vaporesso has fitted to any kit. On the 0.4ohm GTi coil at 45-55W most DTL vapers will see approximately two to three days of mixed use before needing a charge. The 0.2ohm coil at 60-75W still returns roughly a day and a half. USB-C fast charging fills the battery from flat in approximately one hour on a 2-3A wall plug.

Pass-through vaping works while the battery tops up, so there is no downtime if you need to charge mid-session. The 0.96-inch OLED screen shows live battery percentage rather than a basic multi-bar indicator.

AXON Chipset and Output Modes

The AXON chipset offers five output modes. Smart reads the resistance of whichever GTi coil is fitted in the iTank T and sets the wattage automatically, making it the quickest way into a vape without adjusting settings. Boost fires a hotter pulse at the start of each inhale for denser first-puff vapour, which suits high-VG shortfills at higher wattages.

Pulse fires short repeated bursts through the coil to keep the cotton evenly saturated, slowing down flavour drop-off across a refill. Eco tapers wattage gradually as the battery depletes to extend run time. Temperature Control limits coil temperature for users who prefer that style, primarily relevant on nickel or titanium builds.

IP68, IP69K, and MIL-STD-810H Protection

Three separate ratings cover the Armour Ultra's durability. IP68 certifies it as dust-tight and submersible at one metre for approximately 30 minutes. IP69K goes further, certifying it against high-pressure hot-water jets at up to 80 degrees Celsius, the kind of pressure-washer exposure that most IP-rated devices never face. MIL-STD-810H is the military durability standard, with the kit tested across 26 drop angles from 1.2 metres onto hard floors.

Together these make the Armour Ultra the most thoroughly weatherproofed sub-ohm kit in the Vaporesso line, suited to site work, wet-weather outdoor use, or any environment where a standard mod would not survive.

iTank T and GTi Dual Mesh Coils

The iTank T is a 2ml TPD-compliant sub-ohm tank with a slide-to-fill top cap that exposes a wide fill port without unscrewing anything, then snaps closed to seal. Top airflow adjusts via a knurled ring from a restricted DTL draw through to fully open. Two GTi Dual Mesh coils ship in the box. The 0.2ohm coil runs at 60-80W for full DTL cloud production. The 0.4ohm coil runs at 35-50W for a slightly cooler, more flavour-focused restricted DTL draw.

Vaporesso quotes dual-mesh construction as delivering approximately 25 percent better flavour reproduction and around 30 percent longer coil life than equivalent single-mesh designs. The full Vaporesso GTi coil range is compatible with the iTank T, so you can step up or down in resistance to suit different e-liquid styles without buying a new tank. The iTank T is also available separately if you ever need a second tank for swapping between flavours.
